I reserved it through the Alma Uhaul (Troy and Brandi - I REALLLY want you to let them have larger trucks again - REALLLY!! ) - and they happily recommended another nearby unit and reserved it there. As always, the dispatch rerouted my reservation to yet another unit.... on Central Expressway this time. I went to confirm it at the SignPrint unit and had to call to confirm pickup the next day having missed him at lunch ot something. But seriously... if truck rentals were not doing well at the Alma unit... IT MAY JUST BE dispatch reassigns EVERY DAMNED TRUCK THEY RESERVE. I though last two rentals... ( since they lost the big trucks ) were just a coincidence, once to Central; and once to bloody MicKinney. I was used to getting a phone call within an hour of reserving in person... just to have dispatch try to reassign me...I'd drive back over and confirm with Troy... all good ---- every damned time for years. But now... when the reservations aren't even on their lot???? Seriously. You rent trucks. You have trucks in lots of places. There might just be a process for keeping up with them. If not, I'm a software guy. I can write you something. Truck was in good shape. Find out what weir4d deal dispatch has with the Alma unit.

mohammad sStrip mall location. Store was closed and no one there when I arrived to drop off, sign stated to use remote drop off. Drop box for keys was not secure. And I was not sure about leaving the key there. Fortunately as I was about to leave the owner/employee had returned and unlocked the door and accepted the key. This was not the professional experience I was expecting from U-Haul that I have experienced in my previous rentals with my preferred U-Haul professional at the Plano location at Los Rios location and the experience I had in Tyler at the pick up location. I did not like having to do all the work it took to get the app and so a self check in when l expected a totally different experience I have been accustomed too. I do not recommend this location for drop off unless the owners are open and available to handle the rental personally. But, want to state that my pick up and equipment experience met all my expectations and I will continue to use U-Haul in all my future moving needs. Thank you.
JOHN KI tried to upload truck photo to check out at pickup location but the link constantly failed to load, I gave up. I did not pick up the furniture dolly, originally put on reservation, at check out and I was told it will be taken care of. However after I returned the truck at Pflugerville I was charged $80 for the dolly I did not take. I called both the pick up and return locations about this the next day, yet it seems this has not been resolved till today.
