Upon arrival the employee was not there at the location of pick up had to call a random number in a very bad part of town. Employee didn't know how to hook up a trailer so I had to show him how, wile hooking up a trailer found a discharged 9mm round casings on the ground and human feces in the parking lot. When I made the reservation in coralville Iowa I was told that go to a U-Haul store,however after being transferred around to three different U-Haul places I was finally able to find the trailer I was supposed to pick up and never received a text message that my location has changed. Very poor customer experience definitely did not feel safe picking up that trailerCALEB B.

The truck wasn't clean when we picked it up and the attendant charged an additional $25 for pads that weren't folded on the truck when it was returned. I have NEVER paid for unfolded pads, the truck wasn't clean but, it ran for the one-round trip that was made to move my house from street to storage. It was an expensive move considering that there was barely mileage on the trip. I WON'T use this location again EVER and definitely won't recommend and will let others know to beware.Kimberly S.
The owner Beau was very pleasant to work with. I was about 20 min late getting the truck back and he was very gracious to not charge me extra. In my haste to return the truck, I forgot to bring back the furniture pads that I had rented. He told me not to worry about it and to bring them back when I could. (This was all on a Sunday by the way.) I totally appreciate the understanding and the fabulous customer service I received. I brought them back within a couple hours. When I arrived to pick up my rental the young man had rented a truck in my name to someone else. He never asked them for any information and even told me he didn't know who he had taken the cash from if it wasn't me! Bottom line I had to go on 12th Street where I didn't want to go and what was the scariest someone was driving around with my paper work, the truck was rented in my name because he failed to check their identity! 12th Street location identified the person who should have picked a truck their. I was totally inconvenienced and the young never apologized! Worst experience ever!Kimberly D.
