I’ve been a loyal U-Haul customer and have used their services several times over the past decade, but this was by far my worst experience. The owner was extremely rude, much worse than at any other location I have visited. On top of that, I was charged a $25 cleaning fee for leaving just a handful of leaves in the cargo area. I cleaned it up in under 20 seconds, but he insisted it was too late and still charged me. It is not about the $25, it is the way the situation was handled that felt really unpleasant.
