Truck ran and drove poorly. I used more than a quarter tank of gas to go 27 miles. The shifting was slow and suspect. The trucks need better maintenance. The person who helped me, however, was very nice.

The gas level on truck was below empty upon leaving the Rental Site. Thus, I put $ 30.00 /10.38 gallons of gas into the truck and drove 32 miles to load the truck. The truck was on empty after driving 32 miles and I put another $30.00/9.60 gallons into the truck. The total trip was 77 miles. The truck was returned with the fuel level at 1/4. However, I was not credited for the fuel while being charged an additional 27.00 for gas/mileage. Additionally, the air conditioning in the truck did not work. At the very least, I should be credited the 27.00.

Great service, so easy to access facility right where we shop and do our mailing. Disappointed we did not have a ramp but didn't specify, just assumed. Our mistake. Will definitely use them again. Loved online check-in!

The signage is terrible. When both receptionists called regarding return time, they could have mentioned the challenges to find the location. The print out from the pick up location giving info about the drop off location should have specified that it is a Postal Annex. Surely more information about the location can be described on the website. Plus the phone number needs to be added to the website (printable sheet). I will not recommend this location until you update the website at the very least. Consider putting up an A-frame portable sign near parking each day so people can tell it is a U-Haul Drop-off. We drove around for 35 minutes looking for it!

The UHaul was dusty and dirty. The lady who rented me the UHaul was unsure of everything - as if she didn't even check it in or something. She told me the what the gas tank was suppose to be at, but it was far less than that. She told me to take a picture if it was wrong - so I did. When I sent in the pictures later, she still didn't agree with me right away. The staff does not know what a "quarter tank" is. Worst UHaul experience I've had. I will not be returning or recommending this location to anyone. I'm pretty sure I was over charged as well. They final bill came out to $20 over what she had originally told me. I'm so frustrated, I plan on not calling them for the $20 back... I'd rather burn that bridge and move on. Thanks for listening

When I picked the truck up the front window had mud on it, it was so dirty I couldn't see out of it. The window-wash was empty so no way to clean it. I was told the truck had 1/2 tank of gas but after driving 1.4 miles the gauge was touching the red empty mark. I actually pulled over to see if there was a gas leak. I called to report that the truck had almost no gas and was told sometimes gas is siphoned so likely it is empty. Given the confusion on how much gas the truck did or should have in it I was honest and said that I had not replace the 1 gallon I used. I was given an estimate of $77 for driving 20 miles but I only drove 7.8 miles and was charged $77.72. The bill reflected $10.80 for gas used to drive 7.8 miles. I would not recommend renting form this location.

I have moved 3 times this last 2 years and every time use Uhaul. This was a beyond terrible experience - so terrible that I most likely will not use Uhaul again, if so, never this location. They tried to charge to way more than the quote I agreed to online at uhaul.com, made me wait on hold for 20+ minutes with their store manager to tell her about my situation as she was the only one that was able to honor the online price I had printed out confirmation of. When I spoke with the manager she changed the error but was rude and impatient. Then the dollies I had reserved were also not there and I was instead charged for an appliance dollie that I was unable to use to move boxes. I picked up in Vista, drove 6 miles to my storage until and then 15 miles to my new place and dropped off in escondido. I was charged ~170 dollars for a few hours use. When I returned the truck the lovely gentleman at the escondido location said that i was WAY over-charged. I tried calling customer service and sat on hold for 20 minutes and hung up out of frustration.

When I went back to Post and Pack to pay for my rental. Carmen the woman scheduled was a 1/2 hr. late. I had been there since 8:30 am. There were several customers there and although I was there first she attempted to help several people at one time. She made me pick up the blankets from inside the truck while she helped the other customers. I'm disabled and have great difficulty retrieving the blankets from the floor. Since I had to literally pull myself up to crawl into the back end. Had I been informed at the time I rented the truck. I could have had my help do that for me. Also they put a hold of $189 on my debit card. I paid by check and they failed to tell me it would take several days before the funds were realeased. Very dissatisfied with lack of communication. I would not recommend that location to any one. Postal Annex Service Center 770 Sycamore Ave. Ste 122 Vista, Ca 92083
