Access to U-Haul trucks is through the Postal Annex at Ygnacio Plaza, Walnut Creek, CA. This connection is probably stated plain as day on the U-Haul website, and, perhaps I forgot or, perhaps, this connection could be highlighted by U-Haul. Perhaps the Postal Annex could have a big sign next to it, like "U-Haul rented here". Thank you.

The personnel were kind and attentive the problem was with the vehicle, it was in terrible condition for driving. The gas tank was not filled as was noted.

Discrepancy between rate of initial and final contract. Quoted 79 cents per mile. Charged 99 cents per mile. Could not get help in resolving discrepancy. Sent back and forth between central office and walnut creek office. Issue not resolved and no help in sight.

We were told to sweep out our uhual after use. When we received it, it was almost like someone used it to move construction materials. The floor was extremely dusty white and I had to mop the uhual to get it to go away before putting all of our furniture on it.

I was turned away from this location, had to drive around for 40 minutes looking for another location and then was charged a premium for the gas used sitting in terrible traffic. A journey that began at 2:15pm, and was supposed to take ~15-20 minutes tops. I had an income generating appointment at 3:30 that I had to reschedule last minute because I was stuck in traffic trying to find the new drop location.

U-Haul provides a receipt stating we paid them for our pick up truck when we returned it. A week later they helped themselves to another $30 in our account! I filed a claim with us and they said it was a “late payment” fee. When I asked why I had a receipt that I paid them and wasn’t notified first they simply ignored me.

It’s hard to read the fuel gage. The tank should be full when you get the car.

After renting from Budget in Oakland last week I can tell you that the experience here compared to there was like night and day. So much better at this location. Thanks!

Really nice staff. I showed up a few minutes past closing and the gentleman working there still checked me in even though I know he was headed home.

Person who handles U-Haul was next door getting coffee on I assume the company's dime while I waited for over 10 minutes. Truck smelled like farm animals and cat spray. They were not friendly at all.

I was fooled by the $29.00 rental fee. All in it actually cost $179.00 Rip off....

Truck was great. Clean and in great shape. The reservation process online was excellent. The location however for pick-up was awful. I picked up the truck and was informed they closed at 6PM and had no key drop-off. That I had to hold the truck overnight and be there a little before 9am when they opened because they had it re-rented at 9am. Bit of a hassle after a long day of moving, but okay -- I arrived at the location a little before 9am after I filled it with gas, cleaned it and wiped down the seats, etc. Tried to be kind since they had if re-rented right away. Got to the location and the back door where I picked up was locked. No answer. Waited. Still no answer. Drove around to the front, parked and then went to the door. Five minutes to nine -- and the old man glared at me and wouldn't open the door. Three minutes till -- an lockbox customer entered and the owner said I couldn't come in. I showed him the U-haul key and he said he wasn't open and to get out. Five minutes AFTER nine he opens the door glaring at me and I explained I was told to get here a few minutes early. He called me a liar. Whatever. I handed him the key and he asked where the truck was. I explained right in front in a parking spot. He said I had to bring it around back. I told him I did -- but the door was locked. I again explained and pointed right at the truck. He said move it. I walked out.

Drop off location changed too! Ugh. It would have been great if the Uhaul website could tell you whether a location has outside of hours drop off capabilities or not. Which it would have been great if this one did. Thanks

This is the best U Haul location I’ve been too. Quick, courteous.

It would be great if they had a night drop.

Location great. Counter person had a BAD non helpful attitude! She doesn’t appear to enjoy what she does.

I left it with more gas than I got it and they still charged me for gas , the gauge drawing they sent via email was totally false.
