Sales person would not tell me if they had a 5x8 covered trailor unless I would reserve one. When I then tried to reserve one then they told me they didn't have one. They rewired my trailer lights on my truck and messed up the wiring.

I have already sent a email to customer service. Our experience and service was terrible two weekends in a row. Scheduling sucks!!! There is no reason to make reservations due to the trucks and equipment are not available when you need them as scheduled. We have spent over $650 with UHaul and UHaul cost us time, frustration and brought me to tears since we were already dealing with losing our mother. I thought the first weekend was just misfortunate on UHaul's part but two weekends in a row is absolutely ridiculous and we are requesting to be reimbursed for our second weekend in the amount of $298.00. I had to travel 3 1/2 hours to be told that our reserved equipment was not available and they sent me to another city to pick an appliance dolly that did not exist. It was terrible and brought me to tears to have to deal with such confusion and inconvenience while also grieving from a death! It was all explained in my previous email this morning.

Overall experience was poor. Made an online reservation and was never contacted that the location I requested didn’t have a truck. Had to call and get transferred 4 times to finally get one set up. Was an hour later than original reservation.

I made a reservation on December 9, for an appliance dolly - with a pick-up date of December 23. The clerk told me they had no appliance Dolly’s even though I had reserved this dolly more than 2 weeks in advance. Poor planning and someone’s not paying attention to online orders. In addition, The person who waited on me did not show me anything about the truck. I had to ask her where the gas tank was located. She drove the truck up to me and gave me the keys and said have a nice day. Better customer service training and hire people who care about what they do and care about the customer.

The inside of the truck was not clean like I am use to. The fellow who helped me when I rented said that was usual and the bumpers on most of trucks were scratched up so they did not worry about it. Employees could use a little more training

You shouldn't allow customers to reserve equipment if it's not available. And don't change a reservation time without consulting with the customer. Changing my reservation and not having a truck available that was reserved two weeks prior to pickup cost me $250 in fees for the unloading team because you put me almost 5 hours behind. I will not use Uhaul again.

First, Elizabeth was very understanding and tried to be helpful. However, the manager(owner?) was not anything near this and basically ignored me for their predicament that I ultimately paid for. I had a reservation in for several weeks and was contacted 30 minutes prior to pick up and told that my truck was not available. Elizabeth located a truck 30 miles south and while the manager was willing to take credit for the billing he wasn't willing to deliver the truck to the site that was billing it. With the assistance of my hired moving help I had to retrieve the dirty truck and drive it back to my origin. Why should I have to do this? When I suggested the manager retrieve the truck he denied my request and told me he was busy with another customer and would not discuss it with me further. "We are not all perfect" is what he said. He got his money, I was delayed 2 hours on my move.
