tail lights did not work or trailer, Return process terrible!! You assume everyone has a smart phone and knows how to navigate the website, which in our case was not working. Your 800 customer service rep, James, was helpful, but we had to walk around the parking lot to find a spot that would connect. I was told I could check it in by calling the 800 number without using the website. James told me that was not possible and that I was given incorrect info. I have rented Uhaul many, many times. This check in experience was the worst. Fortunately, my daughter was with me to check it in, otherwise I would not have had the patience to handle the frustration. When I arrived to get the trailer, while I was inside checking in, the worker took it upon himself to move my vehicle and hook the trailer up. That was very unprofessional. I was told if the business was closed, I would need to check the trailer in online or by phone. At no point was it mentioned that I had to be on site for that. It also wasn’t in the literature. I dropped the trailer around 5:15pm. The business was still “open” but it was after 5 and they had shut down so they told me I would have to check in online or by phone (completely understandable). I left to pick up my son and attempted to check in online just to find out I had to be on site and take photos. I then had to drive back to the store and complete the check in process.

The driver's license cell phone picture taking with the U-haul link is unnecessarily cumbersome. Every customer I was in line with had issues with it. Added 15 minutes to the check out time. Just photo copy like before.....

I had to return rental to location on a holiday. The business was closed which was fine. I tried to return over my phone which would not work for me so I put the key in the mail drop and called location and left a message on their voicemail to explain my issues only to find out I had been charged $35 because I returned after hours and could not get it returned on my very frustrating.

At this site they went over and beyond. We ran into an isdue where all they had left was a 10 ft truck and we needed bigger...they worked it out for us at yhe last minute AND THEY HAD ALREADY CLOSED for the day!

The drop off location was horrible. I felt unsafe and even unsure if it was the correct place to drop my equipment off. There were no distinctions other than a sign on a door that said uhaul. This location needs a remodeling ASAP.

This rating is not extremely reflective of the location but our initial location choice, but there is nowhere else to leave feedback. We requested our truck at an Indianapolis location. However, we got a call the day prior saying that no trucks were available at any Indianapolis location (there are many), and that we would have to pick up a truck in Anderson. Extremely frustrating on top of a typically stressful move, will be looking at other companies for future moves.

It would be helpful if the self drop off app alerted us upfront to keep the keys until the end of the check-in process. We put the keys in the drop off box before finishing the check-in process so didn't know we needed to take a picture of the odometer.
