It was incredibly dirty, unwelcoming and I talked to the owner who said, "well, you can come back tomorrow but i ain't printing anything for you today" I just wanted proof I dropped it off. I even took a video because I didn't trust he'd log it correctly.

The location I had picked up 5'x9' w/ ramp was fine. The people there were helpful, polite, and professional with expectations and cost for the rental. However, I made the rental through another location and the main traffic office, which ended up making the location I picked the trailer up look bad because it was suppose to be a two day rental, which was fair, correct and expected. It was put in the system as a 1 day rental. That location loses out a days rental. The U-haul system of rental and how they distribute(Traffic) trailers to locations and availability of certain trailers needs to really improve. It seems it's not efficient and convenient for customers by allowing any location to make reservation deals. This creates problems for other locations and customers. My suggestion would be to have two of each(trucks,trailers etc.)at a location and have one of each for local return at same location only. The other one for oneway drop off at nearest location. Then it's better for the customer who can plan better and not chase all over for a certain trailer.

There was no communication between the Milw headquarters and the local rental location regarding my no cost upgrade. Locals told me they had to charge the rate on the computer and I had to call Milw office to verify rate. Then the locals added “safe move” $14 to invoice that I didn't order and was unaware of. Good news: Final charges were what I had expected when booking truck.

My exit experience was difficult. Trying to do the after hours check out online, the website would not let me continue wthout havong an account. I contacted u-haul by phone and was able to find out how to complete the exit process using my invoice number. I spent 45 minutes in the parking lot trying to get my vehicle checked in.

This location was quick and convenient. The staff, although a bit standoff-ish, were helpful and accommodating. Seemed to have a good selection of trucks and trailers. Will use them again.

Gas tank should be filled/full prior to rental, NOT a quarter tank. Do not change pick up point from 3 blocks away to 5 miles away, esp. when rental contract was in place for over a month, and no one "able" to relocate the vehicle to preferred location.

We were told not to register online by one of the employees or owners, and the parking sucks! These guys suck, no customer service!

The store/office was disgusting. The worker, Dave was smoking inside, I could hardly breathe. It was so dirty, dirt and grim everywhere. Probably had not been cleaned since the 70's. He also lectured me about renting the U-Haul trailer online, which I thought was odd. He was very rude about it. I like U-Haul, but would never rent from this location again or recommend it. The equipment was functional and we had no issues with that.

I did the online check in early but the “picking up the truck” was confusing. I didn't realize that was a link I had to hit and fill out before being able to get the truck. Thank God Dave the owner was there to help us get the truck and keys. Otherwise I didn't know what else to do to be able to drive the truck away. A suggestion, make the link more noticeable and show how you have to click on it to be able to get the truck keys.

You need to improve your after hour check in. Could not use it to return truck. Two phones calls to your representatives did help at all. I ended up returning the next day to complete the return.

I was sent a confirmation for a different location, went there, and was told to go to Dave's- INCONVENIENT. Then, at Dave's I was charged for the insurance which I had declined online while making my reservation. I was not asked about this, it was just tacked onto my bill.

Very tight parking lot with little room. was redirected miles from home and first placen because they were having Issues with them only good news, mileage was not additional but gas is cheap - for now.

The shop was smoky and very cluttered. The parking of the trailer was pretty difficult to get in and out of, especially since they demanded you park in the exact same spot when the item was returned. They should consider spacing out items or storing less.
