Don’t leave people stranded on the side of the road for 4 hours! Then the next morning keep us waiting for another 2 hours. We had 2 flat tires on the car hauler (separate times) 1st time I paid out of pocket 2nd time we sat for 4 hours waiting for help; a severe storm came so we had to drive 15 miles on a flat and got a room. This was the worse experience I’ve ever had with renting from a moving company. I suggest for Uhaul to make sure ALL RIMS and Tires are not damaged at all and make sure they can have help to someone in a timely manner. It’s not a good feeling sitting on the side of a road for so long with no food, drink or a bathroom!

When I returned the truck there was an area manager who ignored me as I was waiting for the person who worked at that location to finish with the customer he was with. As he left I asked aren’t you a manager he replied yes just doing an audit and then left. I’m sorry as a manager myself in a service industry I couldn’t and wouldn’t ever ignore a customer.

Make sure equipment is checked out upon arrive and/or return so it is in tip top shape when customers arrive. Person who checked us out, was very helpful and tried to adapt broken equipment to get us on road, unfortuneately the tow dolly we rented, the straps came completely off our tires twice during transport and then chains could not be removed from axel without links being pried/cut apart. Very unnsafe equipment.

Their copying machine was not working. The contract did not get printed. After over an hour, it was decided that I could get the contract via internet. I did not mind getting it via internet although it would had been nice to had known that earlier

The location where we picked up the u haul was really good. It was the manager at u haul reservations that was unprofessional after I had confirmed to pick up the u haul and there was not one available at that location. He was extremely rude and unprofessional. I will use a flatbed trailer and a tarp before I use u haul again.

Clerk was not helpful was not familiar with rental requirement which add to time delay and added paperwork when we came to pickup rental three days after we had done reservation paperwork we have use rental facility in corpus Christi which was excellent fast efficient and clerk was knowledge and helpful

They need a proper aera to park truck and trailers. Backing up to unhook a auto carrier off a busy road is not safe.

This was the location I selected for drop off as it was the closest option availble. It was difficult to find however I arrived shortly after 5pm and they advertised being open until 6pm. The placed was closed however the didnleavr instructions on where to leave the vehicle and key.

Improve computer skills of agent. I did everything to make it an easy in and out. Did not happen. I think they were just new. Very nice and considerate, just slow. Provide a clean trailer. Wasn't even swept out.

I had reserved a trailer several days in advance at Lone Star Lumber in Ingleside Texas. I went to pick up the trailer only to find that it had been rented out that morning. Needless to say I was very disappointed. I was directed to another location that had a trailer available. This put me out of the way and behind schedule for my trip. I reserved the trailer in advance to avoid this type of situation. This was not Lone Star Lumber's fault. The fault with was U-Haul Dispatch. I have not been compensated for the total inconvenience and disruption to my trip and would expect to be due to the fault of U-Haul for renting out a trailer that was reserved at a specific location. To improve service you could start by assuring that if something is reserved it is available at the location it was reserved for. Secondly you could compensate the customer for the total inconvenience and trouble caused by crediting back the account with a fair discount for the loss of time, additional travel and inconvenience. It took approximately 90 minutes to complete the paperwork to rent the trailer. There was some issue in the booking, and the agent, who was very friendly, and equally as frustrated as we were, spent over 40 minutes on the phone with U-Haul who also could not get the booking to work. I do not know what the issue was, and still do not, but finally we were able to leave. I did not appreciate having to take the extra hour away from work to complete a simple transaction. Your reservation/rental software system needs a major overhaul.
