I was told at the dropoff (Broadway Ave. in Bedford, OH) that here was a $25 charge for folding the 12 rented U-Haul blankets we used. I was not told of this when I picked up the trailer and blankets in Virginia, but the Bedford people said it was in the contract. So instead of being sent on my way, I had to stand there by myself, folding 12 large, dusty moving blankets. I left dirty and sweaty and mad that I had to stand there like a fool folding blankets. The Bedford guys went back inside waiting for me to finish folding the blankets by myself. There should be no charge for unfolded blankets. That's what a rental is all about.

When I booked the reservation for the Uhaul I called the Rockside location for an 8 am pick up, not knowing that my reservation was actually at the Libby location and scheduled for 9 am I went to the Broadway location because that is where I called and they said that they did not have a reservation for me and that it was for the Libby location and they didn't have a truck available for me . When I arrived at the Libby store no one was there and I had to call and reserve another truck at the Broadway location when I had just left and was told that they didn't have a 26 ft truck available. I work for a moving company and ended up being almost 2 hours late to our job do to the inconvenience of Uhaul and I had to discount the customers move. No one did a walk through with the truck and the gas cap was not on the truck. The guys at the Broadway location were not friendly either. Especially the guy that inspected the truck when the truck was returned. I will say that the guy at the Libby store did call and apologize for his tardiness and was pleasant to speak with over the phone. Thank you, Renee

The customer service at the location of 4182 Lee Rd. was poor. This was the location that I reserved my truck which they did not have after standing in a line for 45 min. I was then told that my truck would be on hold at the Bedford location. When I got there the truck was not on hold and I was told they could have just transferred my reservation to that location. I also had to drive at least 5 miles out my way so I had to pay extra mileage. I will go to the one in Bedford if I ever have to rent a truck again. I have to make my money with a smile and I also like to hand my money over to someone with a smile. If it was a Sunday I would have to took my business to another company.

The customer service I received from when I made the first call to make the reservation to when I return the truck and all the subsequent calls in between was absolutely outstanding. Final rent cost was promised in an email. It has been several hours and I have not received an email of the final cost.

I was misquoted the mileage price. On the receipt, it states that the mileage is .79 per mile, when I was quoted .69 per mile. I received very poor service at the time I picked up my rental - the employee was in such a hurry to leave that he did not make sure I understood how to use my truck, how to lock the truck and he did not make sure I had the right truck. He informed me that the truck # was on the key and pointed in the general direction of the truck. In addition, the adverstising visor was still in the window, which I had to remove myself. I would have appreciated if the employee had made sure that I understood how to operate the truck (how to lock, gas it up, adjust mirrors) and that I knew which truck I was driving vs. pointing at it. It would have also been appreciated if the snow had been cleaned off - it was snowing badly at the time of my pick-up. I was late picking it up (which he reminded me), however I was there before the store closed and I had called to inform them of my late arrival. I was driving in a bad snow storm with equally bad traffic. I also work retail PT, however, when a customer is in the store, they still deserve the best service. This all made for a very bad experience and I will never rent from this UHaul place ever again.

Only way I recommend this location is if the general manager is there. Last night the service was very unprofessional. I did not get the dollie I asked for. When I call to complain the lady stated that it was sat outside and she though we grabbed it. There were at least two men standing around whom should had put it in the truck. No one walked to the truck so we had to go back in to ask which truck was ours. I was told to check the gas and mileage and let her know if its correct when I am use to them checking with me so therefore I had to go back in the store to let her know if it was correct mean while the men working in there are still standing around. Worst service I ever got from UHaul and I have use them quite a few times in the last 20 years.
