The office worker was 45 minutes late! No one was there when I needed to pick up the truck. I run a hotel so this cost me a lot of money because I had staff members waiting to move things! When she arrived at 9:40 she did not even apologize! She just stated nonchalantly that she had had a physical therapy appointment. I said that I had called the night before to confirm my early pick-up time and was waiting fir more than forty-five minutes as I had gotten there early! The evening office confirmed a 9:00 am pick-up the night before. I would never recommend this location to anyone.

Truck ordered was a 15ft truck, I do not believe that's what we received but were charged for, 99 cents a mile is a bit ridiculous for in town moving, I have never been charged so much. We went over a couple hours on our rental and were charged for a full day, had I known that I would've just kept it for another full 24 hours

The call center of Uhaul is helpful and professional. However, when picking up the truck, it was not a 3 seater or one long seat for 3 people to sit on. It was two bucket seats. We had to rig a seat in the middle for a 10 hour drive. Unsafe! The truck was clean. The insurance was not explained so that extra $110.00 left us at zero dollars and we had to borrow gas money to get from ME to VA. We were tired and hungry from an uncomfortable ride due to seating issue.

Mileage in computer was (and apparently still is ) wrong compared to odometer. Almost had to pay for 140 miles not driven by me. The mileage on the invoice completely at odds with odometer.

Trucks were snowed in. I had to warm up and clean off truck prior to leaving. Too about 45 minutes to start process of renting until I was able to leave with truck. Return was done prior to business closing for day (according to hours) but rental was not completed until 2 business days after.

This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Truck not available. Had to drive over an hour out of my way (after driving to/from this location) to pick up a truck. Then when I returned it I was charged an extra fee of $200! I will never use this location again.

Appointment was for 8am, no one was there. Had to call a representative to find out what was going on. An assistant manager from another STATE had to come open the place up which did not happen till 9am. Didn't get on the road till 930am, 90 minutes late. I never received my $50 refund from UHAUL which they guarantee on their website if they fail to deliver the truck, location, time, etc! Also they forced me to take a two day rental which was an additional $40 for the truck and $20 for the extra day of insurance because I was driving 225 miles (4 hr drive). Apparently they think this is 1917 and 200 miles is a 2 day trip. I figure UHAUL owes me around $110 refund. The one good thing I can say is that the truck I got was brand new, less than 1000 miles on it, but next time I will get a Penske truck!

I had reserved a 17' truck at the Berwick location and had to get a 20' truck at the Sanford location and paid for a 20' truck. I was told that I would get the 20' truck at the price of a 17'. No luck on that one, If you're going to have a location in the berwick area you need to have trucks to rent. I'm so not satisfied.

I asked for a dolly when ordered and there were none at this location. Very disappointed as we needed it to move a 4 bedroom home.

The uhaul worked perfect my only main problem I had with it was driving at night not one single light worked on the dash so I had to use a flash light to see how fast I was going I tryed turning the switch next to the steering wheel up and down and neither would make a single light on the dash work

I understand there are certain logistical hurdles that exist but from a consumer stance there are a couple of things i wanted to provided feedback on. Renting trucks without full tanks of gas is frustrating as the truck i rented had just over 1/4 tank which is not ideal and having to return with the same amount rather than a full tank is just unnecessary from a customer perspective. Second, there was no mention of this location closing and locking the gate at a certain time. I had to call the call center and get a code upon returning the truck, a simple notice when picking up would have been nice.
