Our appliance dolly was not in our rental and we had to drive to another location to pick one up. The office was closed for 5 days and I was not able to speak with anyone at this location. Horrible experience and I will probably never use U-Haul again.
The cab of the truck was dirty. Had old socks. Cigarette butts and old food in it. The guy at the storage unit said they did not deal with U-Haul anymore. App did not work. Customer service was fantastic. She was very helpful.
They said the total amount was one payment and now it's saying it's a nothing thing.
They are very understaffed. I went there at 4;45 on Friday to rent the truck and they were closed, even though they're schedule close time was 6 p.m. So I made a reservation on the phone and went at 8:50 a.m. the next morning (pickup time was 9 a.m.). The employee there was doing his best, but very weak on the computer system. He had to call a woman at home and she walked him through what to do. Because the store had closed early on Friday, people had dropped off vehicles and keys and on Saturday morning those vehicles had to be checked in before he could help me and one other gentleman. After more than an hour, I left with my vehicle at 10 a.m. The vehicle was good, the price was very good and since I only drove 13 miles, my charges and gas were very little. So, since I got my work done quickly and got the vehicle turned in less than 3 hours later, I was happy with that. But, the long wait to get the vehicle was unacceptable. I'd like to have my money refunded.

When I got there at 10:00 my reservation was not ready. The man working said the system was down. The after 45 min another customer came in and he actually started helping her first when she had an 11:00 reservation. Overall was very disappointed and honestly did not think I should have had to pay the full price after waiting an entire hour at the store.
Brittany was SUPERB in all respects of this recent rental. It has always.been hit-or-miss at different U-Haul locations, but Brittany stands out as a TOP U-Haul employee.

The security system keypad was not working, it cost us about a 1/2 hour delay in a very tight schedule. Numerous people were in the same boat. We couldn't get in and had to keep going to the front , the gentlemen in the front was doing the best he could with this faulty unit aggravating everyone. :)

The lady at 1-800-go-haul told me that a 1971 dodge truck would not fit on auto transport trailer, so I asked if a 2013 dodge car would fit, She said no, so I asked if a 1961 WV bug would fit, she said yes. I had already completed the compatibility chart, and it said it was compatible with any of the above, I give her 1 star, not good advice for customers
The air condition was awesome and online return was so smooth.
I was not supposed to drop off at this location. I drove 10 miles out of my way to drop off at my assigned location only to be told that they could not accept the equipment. I ended up calling this location myself after the location on Forest Drive told me they could not search for a drop off location for me. The location on garners ferry was very helpful. Although, I am very disappointed in the Forest Drive location
Britney at Life Storage was very helpful and efficient in helping us rent a U-Haul for our move. We just walked in and they had one available. We were in and out in about 15 minutes only because there was another customer ahead of us. We appreciate receiving the total bill via email being that we weren't exactly sure of the mileage when initially paying. Moving is a huge task so it was great that this part was easy. Thanks a bunch!

I was called 30 minutes prior to let me know that my guaranteed reservation was not there. All they had was a truck that had to be returned to that location when I had reserved a one way. So of course I had no choice but to get that truck and drive an hour back after moving all day. They told me they would comp the extra mileage and gas and quoted me a price. They ended up charging me for all of the miles and twice the quoted amount and say that they have no record of what happened. So after being nice enough to not make a big deal about their screw up, I'm having to pay extra bc of their mistake after going out of my way to be accommodating. Complete cluster
When picking up my requested truck (reserved 2 months in advance) I had found that someone had taken the truck assigned to me without the dealers permission and was left with one without A/C for my 2.5 hour drive on a 95 degree day. Since this is not a U-Haul facility but just distributor, all the other trucks seen in the lot were already booked for other customers. After some hassle, the lady there decided upon just giving me one of those other trucks. The truck I ended up taking was 5feet smaller than requested but I was thankfully able to fit all my belongings in it. Overall a poor experience but happy I was able to at least get a functioning truck for my move.
