A lady called me and advised me that they are closed between 1-2 pm for lunch. NOT true. They were closed for lunch from 12-2 pm. At least the truck windshield from dead bugs.

The agent at the location was very rude at without help. The U-Haul was filthy dirty inside there was crumpled up gum wrappers rocks and leaves in the U-Haul. Tried to contact customer service multiple times and got put on hold for extended periods of time I was never able to talk to a representative. Where's customer service because if this is the customer service U-Haul provides I don't know how they stay in business

For some dust I got a cleaning fee when the lady at return could of gotten up and checked and asked me to clean it. I brought it early and felt like it was returned in good condition but I was hit with a fee and told that they couldn’t refund because they were not a real Uhaul dealer. Over all poor experience

If we know how much gas needs to put in truck, that will be great. I drove 12 miles and put 6 gal of gas just to fill the tank. That was too much for 12 miles. If we know per miles how much I need to put the gas, that will help.

Online check in failed after id verification on step 7. Never gave me the key code and then said "sorry, something went wrong on our end". On hold for 35 min, which is ridiculous for 7 am on a Saturday. When I finally got through the representative was great but he had to reach out to a local team. While he did that the storage unit employee showed up and manually gave me the key. The phone rep called me back to make sure I got my truck, which was nice. Summary: online check in/hold time = F, actual employees = A.

I was disgusted with my experience with U-Haul this time. I wanted to pick up a truck at 7:30am and saw that the only way to do that would be to select a location a few minutes further away than the most convenient location. Fine. However, a few hours later I received a call that said that the truck wasn't back yet and I would not be able to pick it up until 9am. That was frustrating but I understand that its a busy time. I went to the location I had selected online (an hour and a half later than I actually wanted to pick it up) only to be informed that my truck wasn't there. No one informed me that my truck was actually in cottonwood heights--30 minutes away from my home. I was furious! With the travel time to pick it up and get back to my house I was two and half hours behind schedule! I called customer service and was on hold the entire 30 minutes it took to get to the pickup location. When I finally spoke to someone, my initial interaction was very positive. My representative was polite and empathetic to my frustration and told me that u-haul would compensate me. She then transferred me to another representative who was immediately rude and forceful. She insisted that it was my error and refused to do anything for me. After repeating several times that I was told by a previous representative that I would be compensated and after telling her that not only was I upset by being several hours late, U-Haul put the burden of the additional miles and gas that it would take to drive back to my house from the pick-up location. She begrudgingly offered me 20 extra miles on my trip which I accepted. Then she just hung up on me. No goodbye, no sign off. After picking up my truck and driving the 30 minutes to my house I opened the back of the truck only to find that the dolly I specifically paid extra to have, was not there. I was so anxious to get back some of the time lost I forgot to check before leaving the pick-up location. Driving 30min back to the location and 30min back to my house to get it was out of the question. Not having the dolly made the move endlessly frustrating and infinitely more difficult. I called customer service again and was on hold for over 30min before talking to a representative. She was very empathetic and polite and immediately refunded the money for the dolly. Overall, it was the worst experience I've ever had with U-Haul.

I first went to bt automotive for my uhaul reservation and that place is the worst. they had horrible customer service and renting online is a disaster and I will never do it again... but the towne storage was the best. best customer service

This isn't on this location in particular but U-Haul in general. I showed up around 9:45 to pick up my truck (my reservation was at 9 AM) and tried to do the mobile pick up only to be told my reservation had expired. Thinking I put in the wrong info, I logged out and logged back in to my account. Only to find out that no matter what info I put in I could not activate my reservation. After well over an hour trying to get the info and over 20 minutes on hold with your customer service they finally updated the reservation to a valid time. In the future U-Haul....HOW ABOUT NOTIFYING YOUR CUSTOMERS IN ANY OF THE EMAILS YOU SEND THEM THAT IF YOU DO NOT SHOW UP BEFORE OR AT YOUR EXACT RESERVATION TIME YOUR RESERVATION WILL EXPIRE. SEEMS LIKE AN IMPORTANT PIECE OF INFORMATION!!

Very slow. I scheduled everything on line but it seemed like we were starting from scratch. I had also purchased a wardrobe box online but because he said they didn’t have U-Haul boxes I had to purchase another more expensive Box. I now need to figure out how to get a refund on the box I ordered online.

I have Parkinson’s and not having AC when I was told the truck had AC was extremely difficult. I’m sure you maintain your trucks well but this is an obvious oversight that put me at risk for a trip to the hospital.
