I was supposed to have an app-based pick up for pick up outside of regular business hours that I reserved nearly a month in advance. When I arrived, there wasn’t a truck in unlocked portion the parking lot. I tried the phone numbers listed on the office door as a well as listed online for this location and no one answered and the voice mail box gave an error message which wouldn’t allow me to leave a message. I had to call the toll-free number listed online for corporate U-Haul in order to get the situation corrected. The corporate representative stayed on the line while I waited for someone to show up with the truck. When the guy brought me the truck, he opened the back, and handed me the keys barely speaking two words. No apology for not having the truck ready or for any inconvenience- nothing. The corporate representative was blown away at how abrupt the guy was and walked me through the official check out process online.
