I went to this location and no one was there. Apparently the operator rents space from the building. There is a number to contact but she (Victoria) never answered after 3 attempts. There were people there who stated she usually leaves keys in back of truck. The young woman who was assisting me who was there setting up for an event attempted to contact Victoria and she didn't answer her call either. There were 4 trucks on site and all were locked and no keys in the back. I ended up going to the location at 1245 S I-35 and renting my truck. Do not go to this location poor, poor service. The customer service representative at the other location knew what location I had the problem with before I even mentioned the name. He stated they get a lot of irate customers from that location. But now this location is trying to charge me for a three day rental $73.36. Online with customer service as I type this and she contacted the location who validated I never picked up a truck from her. Do not use this location. Nothing worse than trying to do something and you can't because the service you put your trust in will be there.

This is not where we reserved our original truck for pick up. We reserved at the U-Haul in Desoto only to arrive 30 minutes after our requested pick up time to find out our truck hasn't been turned in and we drove all that way and received no phone call telling us this. So we ended up having to drive to another location for pick up and we told the manager (Kevin Clayton) at the original store we were on a schedule and had to have a truck and he was suggesting we drive 30 minutes away to pick up on and that was not going to work. I don't think this situation was handled very professionally. We should have received a phone call prior to showing up to let us know the status of the truck we requested so we would have been prepared. We are elderly and only had help moving certain hours and this caused us an hour delay and cost us an extra $100 we were not budgeting for and we live on a fixed income. I would like for someone to contact myself or my daughter about this experience because we should be refunded some if not all for this mess! The truck was filthy and smelled horrible. Took a pic of the truck with shrimp in the back of the truck. Had to clean the truck out before I could even use it taking time away from the time I paid for.

There was no representative anywhere onsite to pick up a key for vehicle. Had to wait for someone to finally show up. Upsized to bigger vehicle and it was poorly maintained, check oil alarm buzzed the entire trip even after putting in 3qts , it was that low, fuel was on empty and to top it off the power steering was going out. Very difficult to maneuver a 26ft truck with power steering going out. HOWEVER, Tobies Zavala, a uhaul customer service representative i had the pleasure of speaking with on the phone several times was super helpful and very attentive and he needs to be acknowledged for his excellent customer service. THANK YOU Tobies Zavala for turning our terrible experience into one i will talk positive about for a very very long time.

Although I didn't schedule a reservation, when I arrived at the location there were trucks available. I was rented a truck that was filthy inside. The service light for tire pressure was on and when I brought it to the representatives attention she stated that it had been to the shop and reviewed and everything was okay. Because the low tire pressure notification message comes on almost immediately after starting the ignition I was not able to register the mileage prior to leaving. The tank was nearly on empty as well. When I got back to return the vehicle it registered that I had gone 169 miles which was completely inaccurate. I traveled from the rental location to 4900 TX-121, The Colony Texas and when checking in the vehicle and adding the mileage it indicated that I had driven 168 miles. It appears that when the vehicle was checked in prior to being rented to me none of the information from the previous trip have been accurately recorded. The representative Victoria, at the location manually adjusted everything. However she had a very unfriendly and unaccommodating attitude. It was not my fault that there was an error in the calculations and that I brought it to her attention that the vehicle was dirty when it was rented to me as well as the tire pressure should not be rented to an individual without being corrected. I won't use this location again.

I really had a bad experience with the entire process. Uhaul representative Tiffany cancelled my entire order when all I needed was the covers removed. I went to pickup my truck at 7:30 am on Saturday and could not, the truck was not ready, I found out the order was cancelled and Faith reconfirmed by order. The truck was not ready because the agent had the key. My time and patience was tried. The move did not start until 10 am. Not a good experience for me. I usually don't complain but this was a bit much for me.

Everything was wonderful!! Victoria really was aware and knowledgeable of everything/ equipment that I had no questions that she hadn't already addressed. If I ever had to rent again I would be seeing her again!! Thank you Victoria!! You are the real GOAT!!

Vehicle was empty when I picked it up and filthy. It was covered in pet hair. I requested a point a to b in town trip but I was booked for a round trip.I arrived and the location to drop the truck as was told I had to return it back across town. I called back this location as was told they would fix this and return my call. I did not receive a return call.I called customer service and spoke with Cody and he was awesome.He took all my information and listened to me.I sent him an email of the truck covered in per hair and he took ownership.He said a manager named Tobias would call me back. Coby asked me if I preferred a phone call or email from Tobias and I said I would love a phone call. So I received an email..an invoice..To actually be billed after this experience with Uhaul is actually pretty funny.I choose to laugh at this situation rather than get upset because life is too short.

Staff was not present for pickup or delivery. Very difficult to contact staff at pickup. Staff never returned call when truck was returned. Then my bill was way too high. Never using this location again and I really deserved a discount for poor service.

You guys made me have to pick up the truck from a location further away. However, I was never given extra mileage. Therefore I was charged extra. Why did you guys screw me over? The lady didn't tell me I would be charged more. She just told me that I was good. Said I would get my completed contract via email.

This rental was set up as a 24 he pick up using a mobile phone. When I arrived, I was having trouble with the app and was unable to go talk to a live person because it was a gated business with no access to the gate and no one was answering at the ph number provided. I contacted the main UHaul number for assistance (and unfortunately she was rude too) and I managed to continue the self-check process while I was on the phone with them but there was another issue. The truck assigned to me in the system was not the truck that was left on the street side of the gated business. The rude agent told me proceed with the process regardless. When I did so I told her I would upload a picture of the dashboard because none of the information matched as it wasn't the truck assigned to me. She acted surprised as if she was finally understanding that the truck was not the one assigned to me even though we had just talked about it for several minutes. Then she had to get someone else on the phone to fix the issue in their system. After all this and wasting an hour just to fix it, I find another set of keys on the floor of the cab for a truck with a completely different number. It's inconvenient not to be able to have access to a live person - or even oh assistance during regular business hours.

When the vehicle was picked up in Desoto the gas hand was on Empty. The worker took a pic and contacted someone named Victoria or Veronica. Either way the information was not passed on correctly. And I had to pay for gas that was not there. Next time I will ck around first
