At this point I would not recommend ANY U-Haul location to anyone. To have someone call from another location saying another day's rent was due when she had no details of the rental, and then do it in such a demanding way! I am done with U-Haul!

I don’t understand the complicated process of trying to rent a vehicle The stress of not even knowing until the day before we were moving if we would have a truck was awful Yes we got a truck and yes it was only a hour away but we were told there were no guarantees HOW far we would have to travel

The person who processed this rental was simply the rudest, most unprofessional person I have ever encountered. His irritation was evident almost immediately. He told me he needed an alternate name and number for the rental. I asked him why he needed it. Depending on the answer, I might have given him a different name. For example, a person at the originating location vs a person at the destination. Already agitated, he exclaimed, "Because the computer says so!". He then told me I'd be turning the trailer in at a location different than the one I specified online. Additionally, he insisted that I had not yet made payment, even though I had already done so online. We argued about those two things for a little while. He eventually changed the turn-in location back to the one I had originally specified. At that time, he still had not acknowledged that I already made payment. We got to the part where he asked me to initial that the rental was clean and in good condition. I told him that I wanted to take a look at it before I did so. He did not accompany me to the trailer. He just gave me the serial number and let me find the trailer out on the lot. By the time I came back from inspecting the trailer, he was really angry. He gave me the contract to sign. I started to read it when he yelled something like, "It's just a (profanity) contract. You act like you've never seen one before. Just hurry up and sign the (profanity) thing." I told him I had the right to read a contract before signing it. At this point he said, "For a (profanity) trailer?) I said, "Apparently you've never had a problem with a rental contract before". He said, he had not, and that HE didn't have time for me to sit there and read the whole contract. He also threatened to cancel the rental, "If I didn't want the (profanity) thing". I should note that at that time, he had no other customers and it was at least an hour before closing time. I have no idea why he was in such a hurry. Not that it should matter, but the reason I wanted to read the contract was in part, to verify that he had changed the turn-in location back to the one I specified online, that it reflected that payment had already been made, and that the insurance I had selected online was reflected in the contract. He took up more time yelling at me than it would have taken for me to just read the contract. The only thing I actually got to verify before leaving the store was the turn in location because at that point, he was so hostile, I simply wanted to get out of the shop with the trailer. I will never use this location again.

Found out the day before my pickup that the location I reserved my truck for wouldn't have it and was only "preferred". The next closest location was 60 miles away. At first they were only going to compensate the miles and not gas. I was angry enough that they offered money off... I cant believe you aren't able to track truck/location availability based on reservations made, at least more in advance that the day before pickup.

The enclosed 6×12 trailer that we had reserved was not available. Instead, we were given a 5×8 open trailer at a "discounted rate." The discount however was the exemption of utility dolly and furniture pad fees, which we didn't use/take anyway, so it was not a discount. We had to find another pick up truck last minute in order to haul everything at 2 separate times that day. When the reservation was made I was explicit about what time I needed the enclosed trailer, and was assured there would be one available at that time on that day. The trailer was also full of fish flies, and we run a food business so that was a potential health hazard. We have rented one time previously from this location and were very happy with the service, so we chose to use the same location again. This experience was very disappointing.

The inside of the truck and the ramp had a fair amount of dried mud. It didn't cause and issue but would have if it was raining.

No issues with McCann's I reserved a trailer online in a different location. Two days later i get a call that they don't have that unit. Why have online reservations if you cant deliver?

I did an after hours key-drop. So I cannot comment on the facility or staff. The exterior was clean and well maintained.The after hours key drop is always a good option. Some facilities do not offer this.

Well, to start, this location had very poor service. My order was different upon arrival at the store from what I reserved. I asked about possibly keeping the U-Haul for longer than 24 hours, and the same employee stated that it would be okay, that it was only needed to be in by 4 p.m. the next day, as I only had it until 11:30 a.m. the next day. At approximately 12:30 p.m. the next day, I was called by both this employee and the manager asking why the U-Haul had not been returned. I informed both of them that the female employee had told me it was okay to keep a bit longer, and I had no intentions of returning it any later than 3 p.m. When I returned the U-Haul, I asked if something had changed. The same female employee told me that it in fact wasn’t reserved until the next day. In addition, I was unjustly charged over $60 extra for miles that I did not drive on the U-Haul. I only drove approximately 24 miles. I was charged for 103.7 miles. When I asked the employee to check she stated that she would double-check, and then told me that it was the same as check in. I asked if there was possibly a clerical error. She advises that she would call me back after she checked as well as check in with a manager. She called me back approximately 15 minutes later stating that she had checked all the previous trips and that nothing was off. She stated “sorry” and then hung up on me. I am very, very disappointed with my experience and treatment at this location. This is the worst service I’ve ever experienced, and as a result I would like a full refund of my money. The person checking out the truck rentals was very slow. We waited about 15 minutes for him to finish with the customer in front of us. Additionally, when we called ahead to reserve a truck, we were sent an email confirmation with the wrong date. We called back to correct this and the person said, “I don’t know if the system will let me do that.” It all ended up working out fine, but the customer service was lacking.

Their office smelled like mold/mildew. When I made my reservation the man told me he would only charge me for 1 day because we only rented trailer for 24hours. Picked up by 4:30pm and dropped off by 4:30pm the next day. They put a hold on my card for two days charging double and tried to tell me they were not going to honor my reservation made by phone. Lousy customer service. Shady reservation agreement page. Will never give them my business.

The rental went really smooth. I used the 24/7 pickup feature and it was great. I picked up my truck 1.5 hrs before they opened. The truck cabin wasn't the cleanest and the truck had plenty of scratches that I had to document, but other then that I had no problem
