Be aware of location. I reserved a pick up location and it was switched to one 25 miles further away. Not the locations fault, but, uhaul scheduling. They sucked. Would not discount for additional travel to pick up trailer. Dealing with uhaul sucked. Dealing with pickup location was no problem.

I requested a small size trailer. Was booked for one but was given the largest sized trailer. It’s too large for my small suv to comfortable pull. Had to return it. Was never told my request would not be met. Was not told the size was going to be larger. Very little communication during the entire process.

The gentleman that works there was cranky on the.phone when I asked him if there was someone there to help us load the car on the dollie he said no ..watch the video on u tube. But when we showed up he did help us through it. My truck had empty Mcdonald cups in it behind the seat. And I had to put 100 dollars in gas as soon as I left the.lot. having to drive 70 mile just to pick up trucks was inconvenience especially when I placed a order to pick up 21 days earlier form my hometown. Lost time paid extra money on gas. Had to reschedule movers help at last minute because 1 truck was not available. Put us behind on our arrival in new state.. don't promise trucks to people if they are not available. You should have people who work for uhaul in their locations who bring truck to rentals spots for customers so they do not have to drive to go get them. Moving is alot and having to drive that far to get a truck was not cool. Not every household has man to drive. It was just me and my daughter and she was not thrilled about driving that monster 26. If it would have been I town I would have only had to get a ride there to pick up. Just not real happy about my latest experience. Also the trucks smells from cigarette smoke. Gross

My whole rental experience was a disaster. It started two days before I was to pick up truck and I was told there is no truck available. For the next two days it was one thing after another. I spent several hours trying to resolve issue after issue. Using the app to pickup/ drop off a truck does NOT work like uhaul says it will. Every time I called customer service for help I was on hold 15-20 minutes only for that person to transfer me to someone else and another 15-20 minute wait. Then that person couldn't help and had nothing resolved. Finally went to a uhaul for help and the field manager there was at a loss too. Somehow, my reservation had it that my rental was for January 1, 1753!!!! I could go on and on with things that occurred over the 3 days but I don't want to waste more of my time. I can't believe that uhaul, as a company, is run this way.

When a 26 ft. truck is promised, and being told you can only have a 10ft. truck when you show up is horrible. It takes twice the trips and twice the mileage. And I didn’t get reimbursed for the mileage. I started trying to rent a truck in one town. Four days before the move, I was told they would not have the truck. U-haul said my truck would be in another town 30 miles away. Two days before the move, u-haul called and said there would not be a truck there. So they told me to go to another town ,in the next state 45 miles away, and that I would get a. 26ft. truck for $19.95 a day. When I got there I was told that there was only a ten foot truck, take it or leave it. I really needed to move, so I took it. I ran out of time and I will have to rent another truck to finish moving. U-haul won’t reimburse me the mileage for having to drive further to get and return a truck. They don’t reimburse for all the extra miles because of having a smaller truck. I felt like I was scammed. It was an expensive lesson. Buyer beware!

The location was a bit hard to find because the business that Uhaul partners with has two locations in town. Maybe being a bit more specific with the location pick up location in the initial email might help.

Charged for dolly that was not provided numerous hidden fees. Cleaning fee ? Requested local provider had to go 40 min from home to pick up so additional mileage fees. Pad rental ?

There was a problem with the gas cap. They are aware of it but the truck is never there to service it. Business is good esp this time of year and month. It didn't affect the function of the truck.

McCann’s rep was rude and condescending. Cell service at location poor. Online pickup does not notify the buyer, in clear and straightforward language, that the pickup time is a deadline and if your not there at that time the reservation expires shortly after. Took 2.5 hours on being out on hold to get rectified and a truck secured. Will NEVER rent from U-Haul again!

Have the truck that was requested available when the customer picks it up. Not have it full of mud and then put them two hours behind schedule and end up being forced to take a smaller truck because the one requested wasn’t cleaned in time.

Person helping there wasn't able to use the mobile check in option and it took twice as long to pick up our equipment. I was forced to answer questions and provide information that I had already provided during the reservation process.
