Truck cargo area was fine, the cab interior was in poor condition, had not been cleaned, floor dirty and steering wheel was sticky. Windshield was covered with sticky bug goo that didn't come off the whole trip. Side mirrors could not be adjusted. i asked to be shown where to check the oil and fluids, I was told I was not allowed to look under the hood and that was U-Haul's policy.

I reserved a 26' truck but got a 20' truck. I know this location had nothing to do with that, because the order is placed online. I also reserved 2 queen mattress bags, but this location doesn't carry the mattress bags. And, even though the City ordinance requires masks in businesses, no one in the store was wearing a mask but me. AND, it rained all afternoon and the truck leaked, getting the mattresses that were supposed to be bagged all wet because there WERE NO MATTRESS BAGS.

I am very, very irritated. I did not realize that I had to complete the after hours return at the drop location so I attempted to complete the process thru the link once I arrived at my hotel. I did call the (800) Go Uhaul phone number to alert them to the situation. Yet I still received a late fee as well as a charge for an extra day. I only rented it for one day but was charged for two. I feel that is very bad customer service. I still ask to have these extra charges reversed.

I made my reservation on a mobile device. When I arrived to pick up the trailer the person in charge was trying to charge me 3 times what the cost was when I made the reservation. He was not able to resolve the issue, got very angry and was difficult to deal with. (He did apologize later.) I had to use my phone to cancel the original reservation and make a new one at the correct charge. I was there for 1 1/2 hours just to pick up a auto transport trailer.


Site anal about level of cargo area cleanliness. Was swept out prior and was told if I didn't swept again would be charged $25. This is bs.

Customer service was very good. Truck was not cleaned. Owner admitted he doesn't have time to clean the trucks. There was chocolate in the cup holders and surrounding area.

The after hours return process did not work! I returned truck and attempted multiple times to return online and the app did not work, could not find my location. I had been moving for 12 hours, it was midnight and I live an hour out from uhaul location. I spent additional hours trying to get it to work!!!!!!! Now you want to charge me additional 20 bucks!!! That process is a scam to make you more money and I am de MN ending that money be refunded! For this reason I will look to other truck rental services for my future needs.

Not having to drive 80 miles around trip to pick up cause I felt I was doing UHauls job. No compensation for my time. That really bothers me, I don't work for Uhaul. I just needed the trailer and uhaul knew that approximately 2 weeks in advance but waited til a day or so before to drop the pick up bomb on a customer. I feel your company should do their on job not me. I feel it to be very wrong.

I had planned to return my rental on a Tuesday late morning/early afternoon, which the rep and I discussed. I assumed that was regular business hours and didn’t worry about the drop off. When I arrived I learned they were closed. I wasn’t sure how to return my trailer so I dropped it off and then did research. I got the text reminder and followed the steps through that to return my trailer. I then learned I was charged the $20 fee because I didn’t return it through the app - which I did. I called to inquire and the rep at the location told me that there was nothing he could do and that I would have to call the 1-800 number. I then called that number and the rep was very nice but was having technical difficulties and couldn’t pull up my reservation. She said she filed the request to refund the $20 fee but 1 week later there has been no communication nor a refund. I am frustrated with the local branch as I felt they should have explained the return procedures especially since they knew I would be dropping off when they weren’t open. My second frustration is with the fee since I did complete the online return - with a screen shot to prove it.

This review has nothing to do with the pickup place just a review in general. In a 1300 mile journey I would like to say that we had a tire blow out.. Now I know this can happen and it may take time for a service guy to come out it and help. But 3 hours is not a very good response time.. in the mist of it all it took the guy less than 10 min to do the job. I will say I am very impressed on how fast the guy got the job done just very disappointed about the time it took to get back on the road. So my question to Uhaul is why can't there be a spare tire with the unit? I know some people can perform this task and some can't. So is there a way that the customer can have the option to do that? I grew up knowing how to do this and waiting 3hrs for someone to do a task that I can perform sucked.. I would like to hear what Uhaul has to say.
