One the attendants was very disrespectful as he told me if wanted the truck or not!!!!! if not I could leave the store immediately all over a cash deposit, I hope this message makes a difference, this type of customer service is unacceptable, as frequent customer I would strongly recommend for this location to be inspected regarding customer service and the time it takes for everything to be processed.

I had the absolute worse experience that I have ever had in my life trying to get my uhaul truck at the following location: Gladiolus Mobile, 11571 GLADIOLUS DR in FORT MYERS. I have never been so upset with a customer service experience in my life. I arrived at the the mobile gas station at 8:50 am, for my 9:00 am pick up time. Once I arrived I gave the attendant my reservation number and I asked him to remove the auto transporter from my reservation because I was no longer taking my car to Miami (until the hurricane passes). He told me that he had to cancel my entire reservation in order to remove the auto transporter and he had to start my reservation over again. He proceeded to cancel my initial reservation and created a new reservation. After creating a new reservation he told me it would cost me around $263 to rent the truck (around local cost of $39 and .95 per mile), which was completely inaccurate because the price I received from uhaul was around $134. I proceeded to tell him that he was wrong and that he shouldn’t be charging me the local rate he should be charging me the one way rate. He would not listen to me at all and kept telling me that I was wrong, even after I constantly showed him the online prices and kept asking him to let me see exactly what he was seeing on his computer, because he kept trying to manually change my reservation. He refused to let me see the computer and would not show me what he was doing. He even told me that he has worked with uhaul for years and asked me have I ever rented a truck before! Which I have, I’ve used uhaul in 2015 to move from Columbus Ohio to Houston and from Houston to Fort Myers, Fl (all one way trips). I’ve also used uhaul locally in Fort Myers in 2016 and 2018. So to be asked have I ever used uhaul as if I was wrong was completely belittling and ridiculous. So after he told me that I needed to pay the $263, he also let me know that he would need to cancel my reservation if I don’t pay and he would have to give my truck away to the person that called inquiring about a truck! This really upset me because my reservation was created over a week ago and it was correct the entire time! I then called customer service and let them know what was going on. The customer service representative was very helpful and she made sure my reservation was updated correctly (because he kept going in and editing it) and changed back to the right price - which was the one way rate. After having her on speaker and asking her to repeat the correct price to him and my reservation, I then get off the phone and he still refuses to give me the truck for the price that was stated by the company. So he finally pulls up the reservation on his computer shows me it (with the right price) and then told me it was still wrong!!!! I explained to him it was not and we had just both heard the uhaul representative give the price!!! From there he started to change my reservation again, back to the local price and tried to charge

Location attendant was un organized, didnt offer to help hook up trailer, waited on multiple customers in the middle of my pickup and during the drop off he didnt put in the system that I had returned the trailer and I got a Call the next day saying it was unreturned.

There was no signage to indicate that this location was a U-Haul provider, so on our second time driving by it (my GPS kept tellng me I'd arrived at the address), I just happened to see the side of a U-Haul trailer sitting behind the store. They need signage to identify them as a UHaul dealer. As a female, I would not recommend this location, as there was no one to help me back the trailer into the parking space or to unhook it. The young man working in the store was very polite; I just prefer having someone who can handle it all for me.

The delivery location was an UNMARKED Mobil GAS station!!! We were looking for something that said U-HAUL, but there was nothing and no one to check us in. Guy says the boss will be here Tomorrow and call you. He takes a copy of my drivers license and phone number. Lays them on the counter for anyone to grab. Security concern!!

There was trash in the back of the truck.. It was not the original location I made a reservation for. It did not have the amount of fuel in it that it said on the pick up sheet. I put 25 miles on it and had to put 6 gallons of gas in it to bring it to where it was supposed to be. Either its the worlds worst mileage or it was recorded wrong. The truck did run well and did the job it needed to do and the convenience store clerk was friendly and did an otherwise good job.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. This entire review has to do with the second half of my visit returning the U-Haul. The rep at pick up earlier in the day was very helpful and very pleasant and has absolutely nothing to do with this rating. At approximately 7:40 pm when I came in to return the U-Haul there was a skinny younger Indian guy behind the counter. Looked like a kid and acted like a total maniac. He was VERY rude To the customer that was before me yelling at him for making a joke about his own age when asked for his drivers license. The cashier was in a horrible mood and was out to flip out on everyone. He continued to lecture the customer until I said excuse me I need to go get my child can you stop arguing we need to leave. The customer left very upset about the way the cashier was treating him and then it was my turn. He said he needed my copy of my receipt which he had the original in front of him already but only wanted my physical copy. He was on a major power trip as if he was the king of the gas station. He then started to scream and lecture me about following the U-Haul rules and he should have my receipt and proceeded to say that if I don’t want to follow the rules I can leave. I went and got him the copy from my car which he had already had directly infront of him and then he refused to take back the U-Haul holding up the line in the gas station. This man was so DISGUSTINGLY RUDE it was appalling. He was one of the most angry miserable people I have ever dealt with. He refused to take the U-Haul back because he wanted to be somewhat in control of the situation and wasted 30 minutes of my life I will never get back. This man is clearly mentally unstable and should NOT be in the service industry.

I have rented many trucks from U Haul and never purchased their insurance. I specifically told the representative I declined insurance. When I returned the truck I was told I paid for insurance. I paid for something I said I did not want. U Haul will do nothing about it. Watch out on their sales tactics. Very unethical!!!!!

We were charged double for this cargo trailer. We have made several calls to UHaul and no one there seems to want to listen or resolve our issue. I emailed proof of the double charge to U-Haul with out a response. Terrible service!!!!!

This store owner could not have cared any less about the uhaul part of his business. Beyond that he was rude and tried charging me $10.00 for an item with and advertisement sticker for $7.00 places on it. Also there was an issue with the amount of miles charged which comes back to the lack of service. I contacted your 1800 number and got an email from the district manager. This was a huge head ache ????

Train merchant on mobile check in/out process. Also no dolly was I vehicle upon pick up. Staff and merchant needs to at least meet universal Uhaul standards. With proper training they will get better.

We dipped our trailer off at this location. I have a bad back and my husband is 70. We had no way to separate the trailer from the truck. I had told him that before I checked it in. He checked us He checked us out and then told us he could not help us because he was by himself. He told us to ask some random people on the street to help. So I left and we were going to try and do it ourself He came out of the store and said wait. He finally helped us.
