It is just an empty lot. We had to walk next-door and this is after going to three different locations and they were all closed not like closed because it was late, they were closed down. Shut down! They would never open. So we had to go to this empty lot and walk next-door to a gas station Who just told us we could drop it there. My husband had to completely disconnect the trailer all by himself and move it and lower it. It completely pulled his back out.

We reserved a 20’ truck but they said it was double booked so we couldn’t have it and were given a 15’ truck instead but still charged the 20’ price. When picking up, they said they had to charge their computer in order for us to pick up which took about 30 minutes. We were given the truck with 3/4 a tank of gas so we returned it at the same fuel level but were then charged for not returning it with a full tank. We had to take more trips & pay more mileage than planned because we only had the 15’ truck instead of the 20’. When we asked for help with these issues, the store attendant said they had nothing to do with u haul so couldn’t help and said they just parked the trucks here but couldn’t help with anything related to u haul. Overall it was a negative experience.

Beverly CAfter renting the vehicle trailer we were not helped to hook up the trailer and no check of the equipment had been done. After we had hooked up the trailer I did a final walk around only to find that the tire on the passenger side was flat and had 2 nails in it. After informing the associate of this he then spent 30 minutes trying to figure out how to fix it. I took it upon myself to call U-Haul road side assistance as the associate could not figure it out. I was told I would have to wait 45 minutes but after an hour I called back as no one had arrived only to be told by 3 different people over 3 different calls (over a 45 minute period) that they couldn’t get ahold of the service tech and one stating that the tech had a medical emergency and had to cancel. After all that and now nearly at 2 hours waiting I was told that they would have to send out another service tech and it would be a minimum of 60 minutes before there. By the time the tech had shown up and repaired the tire I had lost the vehicle I had driven over 2 hours to pick up due to not being able to be there when scheduled and the seller sold it to the next person. To make matters worse all while I waited nearly 3 hours to be able to use the trailer I rented, upon leaving and going down the street there was another U-Haul location with 3 car trailers sitting unused. I’m very unhappy at the customer service that I recieved and extremely unhappy that I had lost the vehicle due to not being there on time due to someone not properly checking in equipment. I may not use U-Haul again in the future even though I have rented from you for over the last 10 years without issue. Definitely would never rent from that location ever again.
