The truck was late being returned from the previous user (like an hour and a half!), but that's not the business's fault. The man there was very polite and tried to find another option, even showing me the next largest vehicle available. The truck ended up coming back while I was there, fortunately. He then allowed me to use the furniture pads I'd requested free of charge as way of an apology for the truck being late. Everything was professionally and easy-going at the same time. I had great experience overall.

It was not clear that the pickup point was a gas station. I was expecting a U-Haul office. The fellow working was very efficient and the transaction was fully satisfactory, but I passed by the location twice before I realized it was the pick up facility.

Steering is loose. Could be a safety issue for first-time truck drivers. Not applicable because it seems as though this is the only place in my area that has a 15 foot truck.

The location is a BP gas station, it would have been more than helpful for the vehicle to be rented with a full tank of gas. As it was it was 3/8 full, which was barely enough for what we needed and I didn't want to have to waste extra miles filling the tank in-between trips. I think the standard for rentals should be for the trucks to be rented with a FULL tank of gas.

15' truck was not maintained nor cleaned at all. The truck wandered and the steering was very loose. Trash not cleaned out from previous renter.

The person from the gas station was not nice and didn't understand anything. The rent was supposed to start at 5pm. We had the truck at 6:06 because of its lack of competency. We thought that renting with you was easy and quick, that was absolutely not the case.

There was a rotten banana in the truck cab that have been there for a long time it's stunt the back of the truck needed to be cleaned out seem to be a drywall debris which made my moving boxes dirty that I moved into a home

Location is a busy gasoline station and the U-Haul business was heavy today too. The one counter person did the best he could. My rental vehicle was late being returned, but as soon as it arrived, my reservation was fulfilled without incident. A separate U-haul person would be better.

Checking in, my reservation initially couldn't be found. Processing my order for some reason took forever. Told by my insurance carrier to ask how much the truck weighed to determine if I needed to purchase insurance from U-Haul or not, my question was avoided; I was told everything was okay, I was covered, and then I unwittingly bought $14.00 of insurance. The parking lot was very congested, and in order to back out the truck, people had to move their vehicles. I asked for moving blankets and expected to get a neat bundle of 5 packaged in plastic, but what I got were armloads of blankets--2 of them wet--retrieved from the floor of a tiny storage shed on the premises. I've dealt with U-Haul at various locations in the past, and everything was fine--I would recommend not taking a chance with this one.

I booked my original uhaul at 6:30, and when I reached the uhaul station, I received a vehicle that had damage to its structure and rain water was leaking into it. I told the attendant the vehicle was unsatisfactory. He was not aware of how to navigate the system and an hour later gave me the same truck. I told him that the truck is in the same unsatisfactory condition as before, and that this process should not have taken an hour. After navigating the system a second time, and I mentioning the need to talk to a manager, he quickly rebooked me to a new truck. As a result, I lost an hour of my time, failed to reach my commitment in time. When I brought the truck back and explained my situation. I was charged the full price of the truck with the mileage. I feel as a disservice has been done, and would like some help in correcting it.
