The truck I reserved was not available nor were the dollies I reserved. The dolly I was given was completed rusted and unusable.

There is a lackluster approach to customer service I ordered an appliance hand truck because I had to move a refrigerator and although when I ordered it on-line the U-Haul website put it on the order. When I got there they didn’t have it. I asked for a cardboard box, and they didn’t have that either. Very lackluster! Do Not Recommend!

Though the location was great, the rental was not available at the time requested, so I had to sit for over 30 minutes on the phone with customer support. I reserved a rental at 6:30am, using the mobile check-in process, but the reservation had not been properly assigned. It took 30 minutes of call to figure this out, then I had to wait for the location to open. The van and location was great...once I had the vehicle. My use of the van was extremely time sensitive, so this was a major setback and problem for my company.

I got there about 5 minutes after the time I chose to pick it up; about 835ish AM. And the cashier tells me that the van I reserved had a check engine light on so he could not give me the keys for it, which would have been fine. But he told me that the person who returned it last night told him that. So he could have called or emailed me to let me know I was not going to get the Uhaul that I had reserved. Then, he said he had to wait until 9am to call someone to see if he would be able to give me something else. So I waited and then came back in around 9. Then, right as he was about to call and ask, he instead helped another man get his uhaul which took about another 15 minutes, and then finally called whoever it was. He then handed me the phone to talk to the person instead of doing it himself. And they asked if a truck was fine, and I said yes because I had to move today and did not have another choice because I was given no notice the night before about the check engine light, even though he knew last night. And then I told them that I might have to do 2 trips instead of 1 now bc of the space, and that I would need to extend my time (considering about an hour was wasted since the time I arrived there to pick up the uhaul). So, after I talked to whoever, he got the paperwork and everything ready, and then gave me the keys. However, once I turned on the truck, 3/4 tires had their tire pressure low, so I had to fill up all of the tires, since the dashboard told me that it had to be 40 psi. He gave me $3 in quarters to do so, but kept reminding me that if I needed more that I would have to pay him for it. Even though the van I reserved wasn’t not in service, and the truck I substituted had all the tire pressures low and I had to fill. So, after I filled all the tires up to 40 psi, I reminded him that I ordered a pack of furniture pads online with my original order. He then came back with dirty, used furniture pads and threw them in the back of the truck. At that point almost 2 hours were wasted, and I just left because I also had a time limit now to be back by 4 he said. So overall, my experience was terrible. I’m never going back to that BP.

Truck was very dirty everywhere inside and in the back and not well kept. They were scrambling to find the dollies that I have reserved. The Stress Movers charged me $75 more for 1 extra hour, when the 2 guys only had to move 8 large pieces. They were nice and polite, but were texting, taking their sweet time and moving very slowly. If 2 hours is not enough for a move, you should charge for minimum of 3 hours and make sure clients are not charged for more. They never told me I will have to pay in cash. And on top of the expense, I had to give $20 more to the guys for working outside their area. I would have preffered to have given them a good tip.

Clerk/Cashier called me to confirm I was "on my way" for pickup and when I mentioned I wanted to change from "online check-in" to In-Person he had everything prepared when I arrived. He also was there and walked outside to greet me when I returned. Nice new cargo van, with back-up camera too! Pleasant experience. Thank you.

Truck was not serviced and drove very bad. Back of truck was not clean. Cashier just printed out a paper and Asked me to sign, and refused to go look over truck when asked about it. I’ve used uhaul many times and will never return/ recommend this location.

This was a terrible experience. The truck would not start. The staff was not helpful. The equipment was not provided and when we asked for it the attendant was very disrespectful and not helpful. He gave us attitude and made us dig through his storage closet for the equipment. I had to keep the truck running during the move for fear it would turn off and not come back on.

The truck I picked up had the tire light on which I brought to the owners attention and he just told me to drive it like that it's always on. And he also charged me an extra $10 after I indicated on my reservation that I did not want to add insurance.

It is a gas station and I don't think they are owned by Uhaul. They have no idea what they are doing and I really think either the guy there cloned my credit card or their system has been hacked. It took him forever to process my order. I saw him swiped my credit card and the screen froze there. It took me forever to get my Uhaul and my movers had arrived at my place waiting for me to bring the truck home. When I finished moving, worst thing happened. I received fraud alert text from my bank asking if I use my credit card at a steak house while I was moving. I called the bank and the customer service rep told me that there were more unauthorized purchase on my account. And then I found out afterward the first credit card I gave the guy was declined because this other bank considered it a suspicious transaction. It could be this gas station has been flagged as a location where fraudulent activities are performed. This was really a terrible experience. I have rented Uhaul for years and haven't met any other Uhaul store like this. I will NEVER go there again.

We went to two locations to rent the vehicle. First, to College Plaza Exxon on Frederick Rd, Gaithersburg. The person in charge said that the "system" was down and he kept us waiting for approx. 45 minutes as he made phone calls, etc., to resolve the issue. After that time, he said that we would have to go to another Uhaul location. Second, we went to this location. The attendant at this location did not seem very knowledgeable and also seemed uninterested. The truck that we rented worked great. (Since I am a shareholder, I am concerned about your level of service. "If you don't help a lost customer, you have lost a customer." - That was the sign at the Exxon location.)
