Pick up location: I arrived at pick up location at 9am, I didn't have my truck and tow until 11:15. I was on a schedule and this set me back extremely. I had moving help that was inconvenienced and set back. Maybe UHAUL should check products the day before or have extra in case of issues. In my case the tow was messed up. Issues also arose while dropping my truck off. It was a horrible experience to say the least. I will probably not use UHAUL again. Drop off location: The staff were extremely helpful and nice, however the manager at this location seemed to not care about the customer. The manager, Ana, told the staff I would be charged $10 to get help taking off my dolly, so the staff had to watch me struggle with it, explaining the parts I had trouble with (keep in mind I am 5'0 at 109 lbs. with heavy machinery). When I reserved this as a drop off location I wasn't told about the hidden costs. I opted for a storage unit at my drop off location, and found out that I have to buy their locks (so no I can't use the one I brought, because someone may break into it), also I need to have insurance. These wouldn't have been an issue if I would've known before hand, so I wouldn't have cancelled my insurance before moving out of my apartment or bought my own lock.
