JOSE CUhaul charged my card $393.12 when I was quoted $258 for a 15ft truck I reserved about a week before I needed it. When I went to pick up the truck the woman on the phone said the extra charge was a deposit and I would receive it back 72 hours after I returned the truck. I returned the truck 19hours early, with more gas in it than when I got it, and I remained under the 185 miles limit. After 2 weeks of back and forth emails and phone calls, a refund was finally initiated for $68.84 The communication has been very poor. The customer service has been even worse. The attitudes I got from these people was mind blowing. I thought uhaul was a good company until this experience and as far as I’m concerned I will NEVER use uhaul again. I will never recommend uhaul to anybody I know and I’ll forever share this story about how uhaul tried to overcharge me, lie to me, and fight me every step of the way to get back what was rightfully mine. Being a single mom trying to move is already difficult, thanks for making my experience even more difficult. This review will also be going on google, facebook and anywhere else they allow me to post it because you should not be aloud to operate like that. I hope this doesn’t happen to anybody else.
