Our location was changed at the last minute and we were not notified. It caused us to drive a half hour to the original location and then almost miss the new location dur to closing time. It wasted out time and is not acceptable!

My only suggestion would be the steering wheel was a little high for me, I wish it had tilted or could be adjusted. Other that that everything was great!!! The ladies were wonderful and made it easy!

The drop off key box was broken..wide open, with other keys in it. When I called Uhaul customer service to find out what to do all they would tell me is that I would be “liable” if I didn’t turn it in properly. BUT I COULDN’T!!!

Central Uhaul needs to improve its communications with local sites. I originally reserved a truck at the Northampton site for pickup at 8 AM to make a specific ferry scheduled in Maine (to get to Peaks Island). I was assured by Uhaul central support (customer service rep) that I could pick up the truck express before the store in Northampton opened - turns out that store didn't have express pickup implemented yet. I had to go through so much grief and stress to get to Maine and pick up a truck, which was WAY bigger than I needed for my purpose in order to do only half of what I had intended to do that day. I spent more money in gas for this larger truck, missed the ferry on the way back to the mainland due to larger truck size (wasn't enough room on the ferry for return, delayed my departure) - it was an absolute mess. I am very disappointed with how the company is run overall 0t he store managers are very helpful, but communications from the central company and an understanding of what each store's capabilities are for support are needed.

The office lady was very kind and nice to us. The van I rented was in a hurry and realized only after leaving the premises that the vehicle needed oil change, the tire pressure sensor light was ON. Did not have any problem but would recommend maintained vehicles alone for renting.

In attempting to back the trailer into its spot, I got caught in a snowdrift. The lady assisting me grabbed a shovel and helped me in shoveling snow and pushing to car to free it from the drift. Many thanks to her for going out of her way to help me.

This was a great UHaul experience, one of my best -- and I have had many. The UHaul employees were cordial and helpful. And they called me afterward about a small item they found that I left in the cab of the truck. The truck was clean and in excellent condition. I was pleased to be able to leave my car parked at the UHaul center while I used the truck.

1. Spell names correctly.....my last name was misspelled on the contract. 2. Wash the windows inside and out.....they were ridiculously dirty, especially inside. 3. Record the gas level correctly.....my contract showed the tank was 7/8 full when it was actually only 3/4 full. I noticed this discrepancy after I had already started driving so I had to make the time to call and report it.
