This is the worst experience I have ever had with a moving company. My venue was changed the day before I was supposed to get the truck. The alternate location was an additional 40 miles from my house. Adding 40$ to my bill and an extra 2hrs of commute. The alternate location had no one present to complete the transaction, and I had to wait an additional 40 minutes to get the truck. Overall I feel that I will not be using uhaul in the future.

We had reserved at a different location. It was confirmed by phone at that location. When we went to pick it up, they said they didn’t have it and it was at the Travel Plaza. We were never notified of this and, even though it wasn’t far to the new location, it was frustrating. Communication beforehand would have been great.

Didn’t receive my receipt, got the wrong truck size. Asked for a 20’ and got a 26’. Didn’t receive location drop off so I had to go around Lexington asking if I could drop it off but they gave me another location where I was supposed to go and take it.

The smell of cigarette smoke in the store was terrible. There was no service counter for the U-Haul portion, everything was done in a back office. There were food wrappers in the cab of the vehicle from the previous renter.

I placed an order which was then changed the night before we needed the truck. When I called customer service to get help, I was transferred four times until I found someone who could actually help me. I was on the phone for an hour and a half before they could get me a new truck. When I initially placed the order, we ordered a trailer with the truck which they said was available. I came to find out that that was not true, which created a lot of stress during our move. This was a very bad experience and I would not recommend U-Haul to a friend

Employees seemed bored and irritated at my arrival. I had to ask them where to drop off the trailer. Lacking in communication skills, not to mention customer service.

This place was horrible, smelt so bad inside I could barely breathe. Took forever to get the trailer - the trailer was dirty, was missing the connector for the lights. There was no help hooking it up or any safety checks for lights or anything else. Trailer was full of red ants as well when I got it back to the house. Avoid the Travel Plaza at all costs.

Vehicle was gross, coffee spilled all over cab of truck, bed of truck was not cleaned of debris. The employees were not helpful, did not enough knowledge of uhaul process. Did not get any paper work for the truck or a receipt. Had to call uhaul and wait for 30 mins to get a copy of my receipt sent to me.

Equipment did not have a lights wire long enough to reach anything. Nobody onsite to help. Had to drive 4 miles to lowes without lights to get an extension cable. This is awful customer service.

clean the equipment . do a check when things are returned . be able to assist the customer renting the customer should not have more knowledge of uhaul procedure than the representitve i dont know anything about that is not an answer when somone needs help. having inquries answered through a 3rd party while in the office is not only bad customer service its rude . having them tell me you cant help and i can return it somewhere else is unacceptable . as i already called customer support to try and not have to deal with that location again .i was told i could be charged 200 dollars for going somehwere else .

Called location to let them know that I may be an hour late and wanted to know if I would be charged for an additional day. They said no, not for only an hour. When I received the invoice they charged me an additional day and the Safe Move fee totaling $48.13 with tax. I've left 3 messages with details and there was no return call. I went into the store on 12/4 and they called the manager(Ali) and the girl told me that he would issue a credit that night. If I do not have the credit by the end of the day I will have my credit card company reverse the charges for the entire bill.

Never answers phone Tells us can't rent trailer due to no internet service, didn't pay his bill Dirty filthy place Flat tires on first trailer 5 calls to 800 U haul, finally connected to regional director who set up contract but says he can't do anythg about this poorly run, nasty, apathetic location that is a pitiful representation of Uhaul because this is not his territory??? I asked the regional director to report this location to someone that does cover this area as this location and its operator are a disgrace to the uhaul industry!! Zero instruction about rental, was told to go get trailer and we hooked up and left!
