I had to wipe clean dust off the dashboard. I have decided to use your service again this week. I had an unexpected circumstances which prevented me returning the vehicle on schedule but I was allowed to extend the returning time which is very much appreciated.
RICHARD OI had a problem renting with a company card without my name on it. so it took over an hour to get my rental . But the agent helped find a solution do she rocks!
Adam BI am writing to formally request additional compensation due to a series of significant issues with my recent U-Haul reservation and the added inconvenience that followed. When I was offered compensation to tow a trailer one-way to my destination in Tustin, I agreed and requested to reduce my original reservation from a 20’ one-way truck to a 15’ one-way truck, which your team accommodated. I also specifically requested that both the truck and trailer be available for pickup at the same location, which was confirmed and arranged at the U-Haul of Inglewood. Despite receiving confirmation via text and a phone call approximately 23 hours prior to my scheduled pickup—clearly stating that both the 15’ truck and the trailer would be ready at the Inglewood location—I encountered multiple serious issues upon arrival: Upon arriving at 9:00 AM (store opening) and completing check-in, I was informed after about 30 minutes that my one-way truck reservation had inexplicably been changed to a local rental without any prior notice or approval. As a result, I had to drive to a separate U-Haul location to pick up a one-way truck and then return to the Inglewood location to retrieve the trailer. Upon returning to Inglewood with the truck, I was informed that the trailer intended for me was missing safety chains and might not be towable. This caused further delay until my companion suggested using chains from another trailer, which ultimately resolved the issue—but only after unnecessary confusion and delay. This entire process caused a delay of approximately 1.5 hours, which significantly disrupted my moving schedule and inconvenienced the individuals who were waiting at my apartment to assist me. Given the confirmed reservation, the lack of communication regarding critical changes, the time lost due to these complications, and the stress and inconvenience caused, I am requesting additional compensation beyond the original amount agreed upon for hauling the trailer. Please let me know how this can be resolved. I believe this request is reasonable given the circumstances and the breakdown in service I experienced. Sincerely, Amanda L.
