Called to change to a more convenient pick up location on Thursday for a Saturday morning rental as my preferred location didn’t have a 26’ truck. Made the change w/out a hitch and received confirmation email. Arrived at p/u location Saturday morning and was informed that reservation had been canceled. I was offered the correct size truck at a location that would have added 10 miles and major inconvenience to my rental. The other option,a shorter truck at the location I was already at. I ended up having to move 20’ material with a 15’ truck. You’re not supposed to have more than 4’ of overhang. I was not contacted 24 hrs in advance,was never contacted about a cancellation and only took the undersized truck because I didn’t have a choice. I have no problem with the location or the performance of the equipment but I do take issue with U-Haul customer service. Was not offered any discount or the reservation guarantee or so much as an apology. Terrible experience!

I reserved a truck to be picked up at 2pm and when I went to pick it up they told me I had to return the truck the next day before 9am. I told them I rented a truck for 24hrs and they told me I have to return it because they rented out the truck already. So I had to return the truck unable to finish my moving.

I couldn't find the office, so I dropped the trailer and called them the next day. Whoever answered had no problem finding the contract and checking in the equipment, so is have to say that it was an ok experience.

No one was there when my son dropped off the truck and he could not locate a lockbox. I called uhaul and was told they would be open on the 4th. My son went back today to return the keys and they were closed. I called uhaul again and was told someone would call me within an hour. No phone call. By this time my so. Had to go to work so he left the keys and paperwork in the glove box with the door unlocked. I called again after not hearing from anyone and within an hour I finally got my receipt emailed to me. I realize that the problem is not uhaul itself, but with this specific location. If I ever have to rent another truck I will absolutely make sure I don’t pick it up or drop it off to this location.

The man receivingthe truck was obnoxious. Did you know you don't get credit for returning car trailers/motorcycles trailers days early but they are eager to charge extra for every hour the truck is late. He did not explain only said " their policy". Unfortunately I used some foul language.

This whole experience has been a disaster. No one will call me back. I’ve emailed and waited 72 hours and still haven’t been contacted. I was quoted $109 for the Uhaul rental plus 30 miles. I then had to pick up from a different location so they were supposed to give me 15 extra miles. The price ended up being $160 and I was charged and additional $7 when I dropped off because of going 14 miles over the 30 even though I was promised an extra 15 miles. This doesn’t reflect the service at either location as they are just. It’s party companies. No one from the actual UHaul company will respond to me and refund my overages. Please right this immediately before I file a BBB claim as well as a credit card claim to get my money back.

Your U-Haul app to self check in did not work well. I would never recommend going to a site where there is not an attendant. I was told on the phone prior to pickup that it was "easy" to use the self check in ap. It took us at least 45 minutes to navigate the self check-in process, had to ask for on-line help, and had a call out to customer service and was on hold for 20 minutes.

I rented a 17 foot truck was told they had one. When I get there they didn't have one and acted like it was no big deal. If they did't have one I would have never even used this location. The self check in was very slow and spent 45minutes going through the check in process. I thought that this was a horrible experience and felt cheated and as though the Uhaul people didn't care if I things to do other than spending time checking into a truck that I did.t want. Next time I will use Budget
