The people were pleasant. However i was about an hour past the check in time and felt they could have charged me an hour over instead of another whole day. This was my first time renting with this U-Haul.

GPS didn't recognize the location of the truck as the pickup location. It seemed that the truck was at a slightly different spot than what was in the photograph. The photograph was only revealed afterwards, which meant that I had to drive around in the location to see if it worked. This took me 5-10 mins, and was not a pleasant experience. I hope something can be done to fix this issue. Either the GPS should be able to pinpoint where the truck is (currently it only gives the address) or it should be able to detect that I am within perhaps 0.1 mile of the truck.

The location was very clean and the staff was very courteous and professional. The explain all the rules of the contract, Also the equipment was new clean and work very well.


Be able to pick up truck earlier than 10 AM. It took 30 minutes to be able to drive off the lot.

Please do not discuss politics with customers. Whether you are on the same side or not I don't care. But it makes for been poor customer service quite honestly. Also this is the first time I rented a UHaul. Uhaul needs to change their marketing. The $19.99 per day is very misleading.


Not very happy, first of all I was to pick up the truck at 1PM. and we didn't get till 2PM due to not back as said. Then being charged for after hours service fee for $20.00 which I was told to leave the key in the drop box due to picking up the truck late not there would be a service fee. WOW, NICE WAY TO GET MORE MONEY

The website always screws up for pickups.


I would give zero stars if I could. Very poor customer service and experience. UHaul employee complained that I did mobile check in to reserve truck and then he had to print the order anyway. Then employee wouldn't walk out to the truck with me to review current damages on truck or even show me where to get it. But I'm expected to sign off on damages on a truck that I haven't even seen. I finished signing paperwork and was told “the truck should be out there somewhere outside the fence.” After walking around the lot and not finding a truck that my keys fit, my passenger and I had to walk back to the UHaul office to ask again where the truck is. Disgruntled employee finally walked out and said “oh, it's over there, inside the fence”, while pointing across the lot in a different direction than where I initially was told to look. Windshield was dirty and difficult to see. I brought the truck back before required time (less than 8 hours) and was charged additional $20 on my receipt that I received the following day because I didn't use “mobile check in”. At the time of picking up the truck, I was told by UHaul employee to just put keys in a drop box when done. I was not told there is a $20 fee if I don't use “mobile check in” for return. Very poor customer service and overall very poor experience. Watch out for hidden fees!!

Your truck pick-up application and process needs more testing and simplifying to be customer-friendly. I was asked to take photo of my driver's license THREE TIMES when I had done it already once at the dealer office. The truck-return app ended without saying anything; it should have said "DONE" or "ORDER COMPLETE and CLOSED".

I had a truck mechanical problem, the power steering was groaning when turning wheel, plus the light on dashboard indicated a low water situation. I triede for 3 hours to make contact with U-HAUL and finally i spoke with someone, they did not come out to service vehicle due to me saying the light showing low water , went out. We lost a day moving due to high winds and heavy rain, I kept the truck another day, was supposed to return truck by 2 pm but returned the 26 ' truck by 6 pm pm , only to find out those 4 hours COST ME ANOTHER DAY RENTAL ON THE AGREEMENT. I'm 74 years old, on a fixed budget, so I have to pay 4 days instead of 3 . It's unfair...and your ODOMETER IS NOT CERTIFIED. I think it adds mileage by counting 9 1/2 tenths as a mile, my opinion. A 2 pm return was unlikely due to 3 trips with rental unit, that's really slick of UHAUL to end a contract mid day. , just for that reason alone, i would not come back to UHAUL.
