There was a small amount of confusion with an extra mileage credit that I had received over the phone that was not input into my first contract, and there was some damage (sizeable dent) to the right rear corner of the roof of my rental vehicle that was not noted when I took possession. Did not affect me on the other end, but it would have been good to note.

MR location gentleman was professional, no complaints. Comments about my experience with Abbotsford location as I also ended up booking a self storage container, both times (in person and the initial phone call) the girls really took the time to explain things and help me out. It was very helpful given that things had to happen very quickly and I was responsible for everything (finding a locker, seeing if I could extend my return date, going over the in and out rules, etc) as my husband was at work and couldn't help me and I was left with a very large truck full of items from our previous home.

I was expected to pick it up from King George Blvd, but have to drive my car 25 km to get a truck and then have to pay extra for useless 25+25 kms + fuel.

I ordered a 17ft van, someone called to say they didn't have one and they would reserve a 20ft one. When I arrived they only had a 15ft van, the guy wasn't interested, said there are no 17ft vans in Canada and their 20ft had been stolen. Customer service at this place is a zero. Van was ok.

Cab of truck was smelly and dirty, (cigarette smoke?). Otherwise no issues. It would be easier for the customer if the gas tank was 1/2 full and then could be topped up to that rather then trying to guess how much you will need when 1/8 full

It was unfortunate that the person didn't return the truck on time and left me and another customer waiting . I wanted a truck to move a storage locker , but they only had a panel van . The customer service was excellent , communication was strong , it wasn't their fault people don't return equipment , but the panel van worked fine .

The guy at the counter was a straight up asshole. I will never use this place again. I called in asking for help with the seatbelt bc the buckle wasnt on the belt. And he yelled at me and treated me like I was an idiot. He said well obviously you cant put your kid there then. I tried to inform him that the tires are bald on the truck and it slides everywhere in the rain and isnt safe when it's raining, as well as the 1st and 2nd gear seem to be slipping.Then he really yelled at me. When I returned the truck he was ignorant in person. Wrote the gas down as slightly less than it truly was. And when I inquired he refused to breakdown the invoice or explain the charges to me. Just said you've already been charged for it. Worst customer service ever.

The team member who checked out the uhaul truck for us said that a vagrant had spent the night in the truck. It reeked of body odor and cigarette smoke. There was only one regular size dolly available, even though we got there before it opened, and when we went to start loading the truck the storage inside was soaking wet from leaks in the corners of the grandmas attic. When I phoned the location he said it wasn't his problem. I ended up calling the port moody head office and spoke to Victoria who apologized, tried to find us another truck which unfortunately didn't work out, but did offer us a $50.00 credit for our poor experience.

Disappointed that I was confirmed at a preferred location 4 weeks prior to move. Three days before the move I was sent to a location much further out than desired. At this point I could not make alternate arrangement. The franchisee was more than professional not his issue. Why does your on-line system show we’re certain equipment is and is not available and allows you to book. Then come time to move your confirmed location is changed . This is the second time this has happened to me within one year. Does not instil confidence in your booking system nor make me to use U-haul in the future.

Chriss from head office said the truck will be ready for pick up at 4:30 pm , I phoned at 2:30 pm to confirm and Paul said it has to be repaired, can’t send it out befor it’s fixed. The truck was Not ready for pickup for 4:30pm Tuesday June 26 , my wife took the day off to help, my helpers were Lined up to help with the move ,I had very little help the next day because they were at work. The gas tank was 1/8 , I put $150.00 In the tank which I thought I would get reimbursed, but apparently NOT ! A bit stressful I should should be compensated Thank you G Buscaino

I was a little disappointed that the people at this location didn't check everything ,as there were 2 gas containers under the vehicle when I left there premises,which I dragged with me for half a block,the gas tank only had 1/8 of a tank of gas,so I had to put gas in first thing,the service was polite and friendly

The guy behind the counter needs to slow down a bit. He skipped a few steps like the walk around the truck to check for existing damage. Plus if there are only certain stalls to leave my car in then why not mark them instead of making me move my car.
