How U-Haul Reviews WorkBilled the wrong card. Guy at the counter tried to change the card in the computer manually and ended up having to cancel the reservation and put it as a walk-in. When he redid the reservation, he put the wrong insurance coverage. I wanted the $89. coverage and he put the cheaper one on the contract. I honestly did not look at the insurance he added since we were running behind schedule. He told me since he had cancelled the original reservation the pending charge on my bank account would drop off in no more than 4 hours. It did not it actually cleared my bank account and had to wait for a refund. Not sure how my bank card was in the system, since I wasn't asked for a card to put on file. I can also say the app was having issues. I had to type my discover card in several times before it finally saved. I did call main office about the charge and a sweet lady named Rae helped me and said a refund was in process and emailed me the conformation receipt.

I was only surprised to learn that, although I scheduled a U-Haul at this location, I received a text the morning of the rental that I was supposed to pick up a UHaul at a completely different location. This location was one mile from my move. Since I get charged by the mile, this is where I expected to pick up the moving truck. I was only fortunate to check my text before I came to pick up the truck. The manager at this location was very helpful and cooperative but the on-line scheduling system is REALLY bad to make this kind of a switch without the customer's consent!
