Unfortunately, my overall review on the uhaul truck I rented is not good. The truck was very dated, dinged, and old school. The windows had to be hand rolled down. This made it impossible for me to roll down both windows at one time to air ventilate the cab. In addition, Uhaul charged me for a double rental charge, despite the fact that the location I rented from has late hours that it opens in the a.m., and early hours in the afternoon that it closes. I picked up the truck with much difficulty at around 8:30 in the morning, and dropped it off at the Safe Ship at around 7:30 p.m. I did not check the truck in at that time, as the location was closed after 5:30, and I had such a difficult time in the morning trying to rent it over my phone. So the next morning, thinking I had rented the vehicle for 24 hours, I went over before 8:30, and went through the process of returning the vehicle & dropping my key in the lock box. I also rented two trucks from Home Depot during this same move. The vehicles were much newer, much easier to drive, and ultimately cost me about half the price of the uhaul truck. Seems like I should have stuck with Home Depot for all 3 trucks. I did post when returning my truck to Uhaul that the amount was incorrect. I do not believe I should be charged a second $39.95 under the circumstances.

Mobile pickup was my first time do it was very challenging to figure out and to locate things like keys, locks, etc. return mobile process asked for pictures and explained gas, etc but the pickup process did not so I had to guess at things like gas and the cleanliness of the vehicle. I’m sure the next time would be easier now that I know what to look for.
Brian PThe process for picking up is broken. It is TOTALLY unwieldy, impossible to navigate, and even the professionals at the UHaul location had extreme difficult getting it to function. My pick up time was scheduled for 7:30. I spent over an hour working with Tiffany, who eventually transferred me to another woman who promptly hung up on me. Eventually I ended up dealing with the office at Roscommon Drive, who opened at 9 am, and due to their difficulty in dealing with the system I didn't get a truck until 10:30. Meanwhile my moving crew of 4 were waiting and their meter was running. This was by far the worst rental experience of my 75 year life. The worst! You need to scrap your "online" approach completely and totally retool it.
