The trailer was attached to the back of my vehicle by the U-Haul personnel and in the process of driving to Maryland the chain became loose and it was dragging on the road. I was forced to pull over when I heard the noise and reattached it; it was a very dangerous situation for my family. This happened on 695 south a very, very busy road. I reported the incident to the U-Haul associate at the drop off location in Maryland on Saturday.

Nobody was wearing masks. I was so shocked. The gentleman who took care of my rental had no mask on and said nothing about it. I had a mask on and he did not even make an effort to put one on to cater to me. Nobody else in the entire building had a mask on. I have some health issues that make COVID a very scary thing for me and not once was that taken into account. I am shocked such a large company as Uhaul would condone this sort of behavior. It is an illegal practice in NY.

the phone-in 800# process leaves ALOT to be desired! Did not receive day intended to pick-up, then given three other #s to try to correct problem only to still be given wrong day. Had to reschedule for the help that was needed to load/unload truck. OR a different site pick-up that would of added another 60 miles (round trip) to the total cost to rent (an added $60) Would I use U-Haul again after this? NO

Owner was rude, no help, didn't help me hook it to my truck. Trailer was sitting on a tire, no jack to lift it into position. When it was returned early, owner charged me for an extra day after I was told I wouldn't be charged. Told me it wasn't worth his time and didn't care what my experience was. I will never use uhaul again.

I had to wait to wait for the representative to return from an errand, and then he couldn't find my name in the system. I gave him a copy of my rental agreement and he took a copy of it, so I didn't have to stand around waiting. I appreciated that.
