Truck was dirty stank and smell like piss and i had to clean it before my kids got in it. The doors are left unlock. NastyCOOLEY K.
The truck had trash, debris, spills, and roaches. I had to sweep and mop the back of the truck and the cabin before using it. I ended up buying Raid to get rid of the roaches.CHRISTINA B.
Please ensure that your vehicles are properly locked upon my inspection the doors were not locked and passengers window was down, and to top this off the was a homeless person sleeping in the storage area at the back of the truck. This was reported to the gas station attendant. This was not a welcoming experience for my first time rental. I was scared as hell when I saw this not a good experienceSherine R.
The truck was nasty and dirty I all most died I lost control of the truck but God took the wheel and on top of that I went about 15 miles down the street to pick up a few things and I was charged 85$ which is outrageous never againVal B.
I forwarded my experience with customer service yesterday, & no reply. I was charged $140 for using a uhaul I received with feces smeared all over the the interior of the storage area, where my belongings were supposed to be hauled. I spent 3+hrs scrubbing it, along with my wife. The gas was even returned exactly where it was left, yet I was charged $17.xx for that as well. I would expect ATLEAST a 50% discount. I will be disputing the full balance with my credit card company if you guys can not resolve the issue immediately & submitting a detailed review of my horrible experience. I'm not one to complain, & also a business owner, but this was too much. You guys need more supervision of what CONDITION your vehicles are being returned in. My uhaul was also NOT inspected after I returned it, if it were I would've NOT had the experience I did. I picked up a 26 foot box truck to move my families' belongings today. When I picked it up I didn't think to check the storage area for anything, although I should have. Never would I have imagined that the pigs whom used this truck previously would have DOG FECES ALL OVER THE ENTIRE TRUCK. IT WAS DISGUSTING. I had to scrub/clean the entire box truck for about 3 hours BEFORE beginning to move my home, being that I obviously cannot place my things in there like that AND I drove 30 mins out of my way to pick it up because there were no other uhauls available in my area. Keep in mind I picked it up at about 630pm. I'm not one to complain, I am a business owner & do know you absolutely cannot control your customers' actions BUT this was a tremendous inconvenience.claudio B.
The truck was extremely dirty with old masks in the cup holder, sticky coffee Stains all over, stunk of cigarettes and was clearly not sanitized before we got in. Very convenient but not COVID safeKellie P.
The attendent was terrible he was lazy, uncooperative I called after I picked up the car to say that something on the reservation or the contract was wrong he said not to worry about it when I come in they'll take care of it cuz it was for 6 hours and I need it for a day or two when I got there to return he was like it's my problem call customer service after you pay $220 when it was only supposed to be $143. Fortunately he called the owner and he said no it's the $143.Casandra S.
The guy was rude from beginning to end. I've used uhaul multiple times and I've never had this poor of an experience. The guy was too lazy to read the odometer and made me go in the pouring rain to get the final reading. Please consider shutting them down. It's a bad name for your company. As I will probably be using a different service from now on as well as telling others to do so as well.Josh G.
Dirty gas station with no direction. Attendant came out and yelled at me to move the truck to a different location and then again to back it up 10 feet. I feel bad that he did not know how to read or understand English and yelled at me to go take a picture of the mileage and gas because he couldn't leave the station to intake the truck. He also made me check in the equipment on the iPad myself because he couldn't read.James B.

This was not the location I selected to return the vehicle. The store I selected would not accept the vehicle and I was told to go to 2 other locations which is owned by the same person. By the time I finally got someone to help me it was 30 mins late and I was charged $40 ... very frustratingKAREN M.

The employee was focused on fixing a $20.00 bill for 5 minutes prior to handling my transaction. He had to call his boss several times during the transaction. It was thought I had rented a dolly which I had not. I had some cardboard (2 Uhaul wardrobe boxes cut up) and a few pieces of 2' x 4' thin pieces of plywood from my move left over from my move that I could not find a trash dumpster for as my son's apt we moved into did not have such dumpsters nor any way to throw such items away. So I assumed I would pay $25.00 for cleaning out the truck (I did fold the 12 pads up that I had rented). The owner mentioned it could be $600.00 for that process due to the bill for the dumpster normal use. The site employee eventually told me we could dump it in their dumpster, which I appreciated very much. I would say I was there for 30 - 40 minutes during this process to drop off the truck though and was exhausted from the long drive and unloading just prior.Stephen C.

The staff tried to charge me more than what my reservation indicated. I was charged for Safe & Protection Plan when it was declined on my original reservation & they refused to remove the charge saying they couldn't. It takes more than 1/2hr to check-in cuz their internet is so slow. If things are not right the clerk always has to call the owner - lack of training EXTREMELY poor knowledge of how to run this type of a business. What is the purpose of having this location if this continues?Yvonne W.

I reserved a 15 foot truck, an appliance dolly, and six protection pads blankets. When I got over this morning to pick up the truck. He had no record of me reserving a truck!. I had to go all way through the process again. I am extremely upset that the truck I reserved weeks ago was not available and he did not have my paperwork. The dealer was very nice but the experience really sucked! I will not do this again!!!!!Norman M.
Terrible service. First he said he could not find my drop off and I should drive elsewhere to drop it off. Then he finally found me and told me I would need to pay $8 extra for mileage. My included mileage was 98miles. I drove 97 miles. To sort this all out I had to spend over 30minutes there and make various calls to Uhaul. It was a truly poor service experience.Christine B.
I was allowed to pick up my uhaul at 7:30 am and keep the truck until 8:00 pm. I arrived at 7:30 but no one was there to give me my key for at least 15 minutes. Later I had returned my truck at 7:30pm (do keep in mind that I had spent 10 minutes trying to park in a spot that did not have enough room at the direct request of the attendant). After the truck was parked i went inside to return the key and the attendant said I was to be charged $40 more than I rightfully owed. After several minutes of back and forth I noticed a charge I did not authorize and that there was also an apparent â€œlate fee,â€ according to the attendant. The attendant then wanted me to call customer service in front of him from my own phone without providing me a number to call. 30 minutes of back and forth later, the attendant finally took off the additional charges. I am fine with mistakes, but the attendant said what is the point of fighting for $40, that he was doing me a favor and saying it was my fault for being late. I was authorized that full time, met with opposition from the start and belittled for fighting to not lose $40. It is my money not theirs. Pennies go a long way right now with the current crisis.Nate A.
I waited over 45 minutes just to get the truck after I did everything online. I had to call uhaul. Couldn't find the keys so I had to go into the store. The man in the store was rude and didn't know what he was doing.Kimberly B.
