This truck is no longer fit for service. The engine vibrates terribly and the cargo box is NOT water tight at all. My cargo got wet inside.

Not much really. The vehicle was ready to go at the appointed time, and all the paperwork was done efficiently. this location is an auto repair shop, so despite being busy with usual repair work, the staff was super friendly and helpful.

When I dropped off the truck, the guy at the desk was just sitting there talking to his friends. He just took my key, didn't ask for my name or account, and didn't write down the time I dropped it off. Apparently, he didn't do anything until an hour later, at which time the rental was then over the 24 hour limit, so I got charged an extra day. So I have to pay $40 because the guy was too lazy to write down the time I dropped it off. Terrible.

The Uhaul automated pickup was total crap. The location was fine. Uhaul corporate needs to get their system in order. Many of the steps could have been done in advance instead of in the parking lot on the day of your move. More instructions need to be given in advance. Customer service didn’t know what they were doing either. Started my move an hour late due to all the headache created by their system. At drop off time they should tell you that you need to take photos of the odometer before you lock the door and put the keys in the locations drop box. I recommend you go to a place with a clerk to rent your truck.

I needed to pick up the truck up at 8 AM. The app said the place did not have the equipment. Had to wait for 40 mins for personnel to arrive to assist. We set up to drop it off at a place near the location (BP gas station oak park il)we moved.

Not only were they very accommodating with our rental, as we didn't have a firm time on return. They also helped out with my daily vehicle which lost brakes while I had the uhaul rental. These guys are Great!!

The van was clean and in good shape but had a pretty bad smell of cigarette smoke. Overall I had an excellent experience - the pick up and drop off were great, staff was helpful, and the price was reasonable.

The instructions for dropping off the truck after hours weren't very clear. It took me awhile to figure out where I should park the truck and where to drop the keys.

Brand new vehicle, not necessarily always, clean, ran well, cost exactly as advertised, suited the purpose. Good helpful staff, easy and good, I will go back for any future need. Just keep on doing what you are doing.

Overall not a very good experience. Originally reserved van for pick-up at Duke and Lees in Batavia. Received confirmation email with instructions on how to pick up virtually. Got there at appointed time and website said had no record of my reservation and directed me to call some guy who had a local number. I called that number and left VM. 30 minutes sitting in parking lot and no call so called U-Haul 800# then waited 18 minutes on hold to speak to someone. Determined that while my order was confirmed, someone at Duke & Lees did not "stage" the vehicle so it could not be picked up. I was then sent to St. Charles to pick up a van. 1 hr 15 minutes after my original pick-up time I was finally underway. When I dropped off the van, I put the key in the slot and went on website to finish the checkout process. It was then that I discovered that they needed a picture of the odometer and gas gage. Well the key was already in the slot and I couldn't retrieve it so once again had to call 800#. They took my information but could not apply my $50 credit for not having my vehicle so I have to call back again to have them apply my $50. The pick-up email was very specific on how to pick up the vehicle, yet there was no information on how to drop off the vehicle. Would have been nice to know I needed pictures before I dropped it off. Although the U-Haul customer service reps were very kind and helpful, it was still not a good experience overall. Oh, and that guy I called and left VM for never called me back.

Make sure the van is cleaned out. It would have been nice if it didn't smell like cat or horse when you got into the van.

I ordered a 15 ft truck and when I went to the location to pick up they had a given my truck to a different lady. The kid Cole that was working said a women came in and said she was their to pick up a 15ft truck and he gave her my truck. He assumed this woman was me even though the phone number didn't match my reservation nor did the driver's license. What really blew my mind is that I had a phone conversation prior with this kid and told him I was on my way to pick up. His remark on that call was my husband was here to pick up the truck. I informed him that I do not have a husband and I would be in shortly to pick up and do not give my truck away. I arrived 30 minutes later and no truck. Only had a 10ft available which I had no choice to take . I asked if it had a ramp he responded yes and I did not check till I got to my location in Naperville and to no prevail NO RAMP. I am looking to be refunded my whole amount since the truck was useless to me without a ramp.

Ensure the interior of the truck is cleaned. Each cup holder and section of island was filthy. On floor board and under seats had food and debris. First dolly wheels had mud caked on them and the person who rented dolly did change out to another one. I also verified the dirty interior at drop off location and she verified.

Very poor service, didn’t communicate well on trailer. Had to buy a jack and jack stands to take off. Would not take the trailer back when he was supposed to. Told me to try a service up the road who just started with u-haul and didn’t know how to check the trailer in.

Nothing! The customer service that Mike provided to us was "OUTSTANDING " . He was very patient and understanding of our situation while communicating with him on the phone. Then when we arrived they made our experience very comfortable. Well done.
