The equipment and location was great, but the 24/7 self serve online system overall is very clunky (and this is coming from a tech savvy millennial!), so I have to rate this lower. -The system needs to know your location to start the process, but if you at one point declined to share your location while on the uhaul website in previous sessions, it does not ping you to share again for this instance. Had to clear my data to get it to prompt me again. -The mileage tool does not allow you to enter a 3 digit number with a zero at the end (e.g. mine was 310). I had to enter "319.09", delete the 9 to the left and then the 9 to the right to get it to work. -The "return my truck" notification link did not take me to the *24/7* portal and errored out at the end saying something like "could not process transaction for night pickup"... it was in the afternoon. I had to call the support line which was less helpful than it should have been. They did not seem to understand I was not at a uhaul store and kept saying to go talk to an attendant there. Eventually they did give me a link to the *actual* portal I needed--the 24/7 one, which I should have been taken to within the system in the first place. So I had to do the entire return truck process over again. Luckily I remembered the lock code! If you're not too comfortable with smartphones, you're ****ed choosing this method. I'll be using regular, old fashioned store pickup in the future.

When people are new to the completely self-serve option, it would be very helpful to indicate that it will take some time to take care of "paperwork" before taking the truck. It took us almost 45 minutes to actually drive the truck off the lot. First, we could not find the lock box (It would be helpful to have a note on the door telling customers where to find it.) Secondly, the sign had blown over so we had to search for it in order to get the phone number to call for assistance. thirdly, we did not expect to take pictures of driver's license, dash, etc. Also, much of the damage on the truck had not been marked with the black X stickers so we had to take time to photograph the additional damage to insure that we were not charged for it. I am a senior who was VERY glad she had thought to bring her son along for the pickup. Otherwise, it would have taken even longer to complete your process as I am somewhat technology challenged.
