The fact that this place can even operate under such a well known name as U-haul is an absolute disgrace. This location operates as a 24/7 pick up/drop off location. We had a reservation 7am. When we arrived, the app was not functioning properly to allow it to get through the options for steps on how to retrieve the vehicle. We called customer service and after more than an hour of waiting, never had an agent answer. At this time it was about 8:30 so I had an idea to now change the time on the reservation to the current time to see if I could get the Pick up option to prompt. Luckily this worked as we were already late to meet hired movers at our storage. Since we were so late past our original start time, we needed to find a way to make up time and thought having an extra dolly for us to help the movers might save our alotted time we then. We found a dolly on the side of the building that was not locked. Since no one was there to help, we decided we would use it and bring it back when we dropped off and let them know of the situation at pick up. When already taking off in the U-Haul about to turn onto the bush street, miraculously a worker appeared with no identifying name or even company clothing appeared because he saw the dolly gone. As we were already late, we did not stop but decided we would address the entire experience at drop off. It was amazing that we could be on the property for an hour in a half looking at the trucks, looking for lockers, and no one could come help but yet a dolly is moved and someone suddenly appears. At drop off my boyfriend explained the difficulty with the website and app that we experienced in the morning and the delay/expense it cost us and why there was a sudden need for the dolly. Instead of the manager owning the situation, he told us â€œthat's your problemâ€. I decided I would go in and ask the manager for the corporate number. So I caught him before he went out the back and told him what I needed he waived me off and told me to talk to the woman in the front. I told him I didn't need the convenient store staff I needed him who was running the U-Haul. He showed me off again to her with his hand. It felt like because I was a woman, he didn't want to hear me out. She was even more rude sayin I need to call the general number as if they didn't not have a manager direct from U-Haul who works with them as a business. She also told me that because I set pick up at 8 before store hours that it was my problem. That seems to be their response for everything as a couple. She also insulted me calling me a thief for taking the dolly when they had already checked it back in with our truck. I've never had a thief return something to me, not sure how that works. She told me I needed to leave because I did not stop asking for the corporate number. My only option was to call customer service, wait another 20 minutes to have someone document the experience. Later that evening I also received a fee for $44 for gas and $25 cleaning when in the check in I said the gauge was below 3/4 and said it was dirty provided pictures. We stopped at the gas station about a mile down the street from the drop off to fill it back to less than 3/4 after only driving the truck for 27 miles. Who really stole something here? I've never been so disgusted with a business in my life not been so unsettled that these people could treat customers so horrible and still walk away with my money as revenue. Furthermore, this operates as a 24/7 location and the property is unsettling in the day. There is no clear signage that U-Haul operates out of the run down convenient store in a the front. The buildings next to the truck is an old trailer with junk stored on the side and open empty beer bottles lined up in the windows, deuce was dirty inside driving cabin. U-Haul really needs to consider the image these operators are setting for their brand and reputation.April A.

The personnel were fabulous...on my first attempt to reserve a uhaul at neighborhood location off 1604 (see initial reservation) was a disaster...went to pick up before their 4:30 closing, NO ONE was there...lights off, no answer on phone...very disappointing and caused a major issue with our hired moving team waiting for the truck...I contacted the Neighborhood uhaul on Protranco and the lady that answered was amazing...so helpful and even found us a truck at another location! That's customer service. Then we were able to return our truck to her location and they were so professional and friendly and just amazing! We plan to rent another uhaul in the next couple of weeks and it will only be through them!GREGORY B.
I was accused of calling the U-Haul 800 number and blocking him from charging my card and told my card was declined in front of everyone. Was also going to be charged the FULL amount and not the balance and was told my card was not charged during pick up. My credit card was taken and card number typed in along with security code & billing zip for no reason and had to order a new card. Had to call my bank in the store only for my bank to say no one can block a debit card transaction and that they show zero declines. I was humiliated! Then he told me to click on the U-Haul link and check out online. I did and card went through with no problems. I was absolutely humiliated in front of strangers and accused and spoken to like I was a thief. I will NEVER go back there!!!Channica K.

The agent was careless not willing to check me out pretending to be busy with something else while she was still receiving other customers who bought other store articles. I didn't like her customer service at all, she doesn't care for unknown reasons. I would seek another location despite that it is my closest location! I would not recommend that location. Customer service is TERRIBLE! They tried to over charge on the fuel hoping we wouldn't notice even though we had pictures of everything and the miles we went showed we didn't use that much fuel. The truck was dirty, check engine light was on, and it sounds like it doesn't have a muffler the truck was so loud. The lady working the front counter was rude and tried everything to not check us back in. When I called about issues I had I had to call 7 times before they picked up and the male working continued to help other people while I was on the phone, gave me 2 different peoples contracts before pulling mine up saying the same story for each wrong contractJOSHUA H.
