Very poor experience. Truck was stuck in 2nd gear over and over and over. This is the second time I rented from this UHAUL location and got a truck with a failing transmission. I ended up late to meet movers. I was driving back in the middle of the night in a very rural area of NY state. No homes, no businesses just forest. I was then charged for having not completely filled the gas/charged again for $70 related to gasoline. I have made a complaint to UHAUL corporate: I did not feel safe in this truck at all. I was driving at night, on icy winter roads, in the middle of nowhere with a truck that was constantly stuck in low gear and lurching into other gears. I had to repeatedly (like 900 times) put the truck into neutral (even while driving down the interstate) to get it back into the correct gear. It would get stuck in second gear in the middle of driving at 60 MPH on the thruway. I paid over $600 to rent this for one afternoon/evening. A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. And I had the same experience two years ago with UHAUL. I will not use UHAUL ever in my life again. You are a terrible company.
