Stephanie NI was charged 85.65 for my U-Haul rental. First I was charged 11 dollars for coverage which I declined. I was then charged a 30 dollar service fee. When I picked up the U-Haul it was less than 1/4 tank or 6.25 gallons. I ended at 1/8 tank or ~4.68 gallons. I drove 27 miles and at 18mpg that’s around 1.5 gallons. This is very predatory and I should not have been charged the service fee as I started the ride with less than 1/4 tank. I am okay paying for gas, but the other charges are unacceptable.
