Where do I start with this horrible experience at Top Dog Fast Foods and U-haul? I enter this establishment and am asked to have a seat because they are cooking for a group of four and can then handle my Uhaul request. My brother and I sat in the restaurant for 15 minutes and then the store employee left and went in the back of the restaurant. After numerous attempts calling for them vocally, someone finally came out from the back and told me to hang tight, that they would try to get me some help. 30 minutes later, the first fellow came back out and told me to come through their kitchen to their office to complete the reservation. While this isn't a restaurant review, I highly recommend finding another dining establishment, as this place had open packs of hotdogs sitting on the counters, an open 5 gallon bucket of chili with a huge scoop taken out of it with dried chili on top just sitting on a counter. You run the risk of serious food illness by dining here. There was a box of old dirty socks and bottle of whisky on one of the tables in the dining area. I get to the back office and the employee had no idea on how to run their computer system and literally had to have me complete the transaction on their computer. He picked up a credit card left behind from another customer and handed it to me because he thought it was mine so I could enter it in, which I told him it wasn't mine and put my info in. After completing the transaction, he asked me to grab a key behind the door and that was it... I literally went in the front of the store, grabbed an appliance and utility dolly, they didn't have the furniture dolly I reserved. I don't know if I have ever or will ever see a more poorly run business. For the record, I saw past poor reviews at this particular Uhaul site and chose another, but Uhaul pushed me into this one as the reservation location is only a preference. STAY AWAY from Top Dog Fast Foods for all your Uhaul and food needs.

U-Haul billed me $42.00 for something called Safe Move. I never requested this and still do not know what this was for. I will be inquiring about this with the original location where I set up the truck.

The owner left an employee who did not know how to process our reservation. A ten minute process took almost an hour, and I had to talk to the help desk person on the phone to do help the employee complete the process. After that, the computer would not display or print my receipt. In addition, the hand truck was not in the moving truck as we were told it would be; we had to get it ourselves and put it in. Also, we had to walk through tall grass to get to where the truck was parked.

We had a terrible time getting our rental. First of all, the location we were told to pick up our trailer, did not know that we had a reservation, said she had no way of knowing that we had a reservation, and the man in front of us got our trailer. She tried to find us another one but it was a long drawn out process and very stressful. FINALLY, we were able to get a trailer, not the size we reserved, but one none the less. The location was extremely hard to find because it is a Hot Dog restaurant with UHaul in the back. My husband drove around several times trying to find it and finally did. This whole experience was stressful, as we were cleaning out my recently deceased father's house and we had to get stuff out of house by a specific time. The drop off was very easy but the pick up was a nightmare.

Charged my checking account twice for the rental. Returned it in less than 24 hrs. Rented on Friday. Said would be Monday or Tuesday before owner would credit it back. Poor customer service. Did not seem to know what they are doing. Will never use uhaul again. Got the same runaround for corporate customer service also. Never had this problem with other rental companies.

Was an awkward experience. To close out you have to go behind where they make the food into a cluttered office. Staff were friendly but pushy trying to get you to buy food while there. Didn't assist in parking trailer and didn't look it over at all, just pointed where they wanted it parked.
