4 hours late in getting my truck. I reserved 7am and paid movers to be there at 8am. Called evening night before to be told the truck will not be ready until 10. Got there at 10 and website issues stopped me from getting the truck until 11am. Lost 3 hours of moving and $300 as I had to pay movers to sit there. Will be calling customer service today when they open. Now I have to rent ANOTHER truck because we didn't finish as movers had another job.
Note: I had commented when I turned my truck in that the furniture dolly that I was supposed to get when I picked the truck up was not available, so I went without. The attendee said he would give me credit for the dolly when I turned the truck in. I turned the truck in Memorial Day so no one was there. I was supposed to get a $14 credit, i.e. $7/day for the dolly for 2 days. I only received a $7 dolly credit for one day. I am still owed a $7 credit. I can't keep chasing this but I am not satisfied that the Uhaul store has acted professionally. Thank you.
The entire process of renting and returning the vehicle is time consuming and way too much information is asked. Since we didn't have another contact, our passport etc we ended up going in the location and having to reenter all the information again. An hour later we had a truck rental. For this reason we will not be using U-Haul again But will use the competition.
Make sure rental equipment is available before offering it. The dolly I asked to rent wasn't available and then they didnt have a replacement but I was still charged. I had to call multiple times and the refund still wasn't provided how it was supposed to be.
The trailer hitch came off when taking to my location. It damaged the paint on my lower bumper. I was lucky I was going a slow speed in a subdivision and could pull over. I would have had a much different outcome.
I would use this location again.
Consider changing internet station that was playing on store computer during store hours. The broadcast was not using appropriate Language as it contained all sorts of explicit and foul that would probably make your mom blush and children fill the curse jar...

Have more options available. There was only one 15 ft truck there. I had it reserved but the night before it was in an accident. I had to take a bigger truck that cost more in gas! And I drove 4 1/2 hours to pick it up but was not notified about it no longer being available.
The attendant was very helpful in the return of the trailer and offered some discount due to the water damage. Very attentive and courteous
Person at Quick Pack didn't listen to me when I asked to change my destination and as a result I was charged a wrong destination fee of over $100. I filed an investigation and never heard anything back from Uhaul. I've used only Uhaul for my entire life but will not again
Told the guy at least three time it was for one way rental and he insisted it was for round trip rental. ????? This is the first time I have ever used U Haul. The guy never came out to show me how to or even look to see what I was going to pull the trailer with. Also watch the tax gouging. I think they took me on that.
Provide better customer service for the equipment being rented out. Check equipment before re assigning to another customer!
The individual who was working on 1/11/20 was 20 minutes late. Then said the computers were not working, couldn't give me info on the truck so the kind uhaul customer service individual who was helping me could set me up. I had to go get the mileage and gas myself. The experience was terrible and I would NEVER use or recommend this place again. However, your customer service center was very helpful in getting these issues resolved quickly.

Told him the trailer leaked and wet my cargo, all he wanted to discuss was that I was late on my return, which I knew and was unavailable
We did the mobile unit so we didn't have any contact with any particular person.
Only one person at pick up location. He does other business so it's a wait not worth doing in the future.

Have attendant hook up the trailer. He was the only employee at the site and was too busy with other customers to assist. I hooked up the wrong trailer and instead of just changing the trailer ID number on my contract, I had to unhook and rehook the correct trailer.
