I think it was a little too crowded when we came to return the equipment for only one attendant which was a Monday around 3:30pm. Maybe at busy times there needs to be 2 attendants. Other than that, he was very courteous and the overall experience was great!

Hard to find when the gps directions take you to the front of the mall but other than that it was easy and good.

The check-in experience still requires the renter to go into the store, which sort of defeats the purpose for doing it on your phone in the first place.
The truck we were given leaked when it rained and many of our boxes got wet on the bottom. This is not cool. wet boxes endanger the contents. Plus we were planning on storing some of these boxes for some period of time. Now the boxes have to be repacked into 'good' boxes. The truck was old; check engine light came on before I could get the truck home; roadside assistance checked it out and said to ignore the light if it came back on. hope for a better truck next time.
The store was closed. It was Monday, Labor Day.
The Truck Battery was flat when we went to pick up the vehicle. Fortunately we had jumper cables and were able to get the started and we put the battery on a trickle charger overnight. The vehicle itself was clean, well maintained (except for the flat battery). Would highly recommend Quik Pack & Ship, they were friendly, courteous and helped us deal with the flat vehicle.
We added 30 moving blankets and a dolly. When we received the truck the items were not in the truck. It made our move difficult. Also the store hours are terrible. We had to do a phone pickup because the store did not open till 10 am.
The man on the phone, and at the desk when I came to pick up the trailer, was apathetic, slow, disinterested, and uncommunicative. He acted like his mother made him work there and he just didn't care. Picking up the trailer took forever, even though I checked in online. Then the trailer coupler did not fit over my 2" hitch ball, which was clearly marked 2", even though the U-haul web site said a 2" ball would work. I had to switch to another trailer, which fortunately was available, and the man was helpful with that. But he said he would change the contract to indicate that I had a different trailer than the one I originally rented, and he did not do that. I had to call U-haul and notify them of the equipment switch. I do not know if the first trailer had a damaged coupler or what, but the second one fit easily over the 2" hitch ball. It took about an hour to pick up the trailer, which is insane. The second trailer--the one I ended up taking--WAS clean and well maintained and looked a lot better than the first one.
The windshield wiper blades were useless, it was almost like they were only touching on the tips because they didn't whisk away the water, just smeared it so that I had to pull over and wait for the rain to stop. This was a huge inconvenience. I will stop by the shop tomorrow to let them know but seriously, they must be several years old to be that bad. Otherwise, the truck worked fine. Your online reservation system did not work fine. It gave me one mileage, the guy in the office gave me a different one. I order 10 blankets but he only had bundles of 6. He had me down for a handcart, which I didn't order as I own my own. your system needs some good QA work and an overhaul. This really frustrated me.
FIX YOUR TRUCK THE WHEELS ALMOST FELL OFF. I am a very experienced Box truck driver and it takes a LOT to worry me when driving anything under 32' but this truck was the most ragged piece of equipment I HAVE EVER DRIVEN!
I liked the side to side opening of the rear doors of the 12x6 trailer vs the roll up door.
Quick easy rental - 15' truck seems to get better MPG than other rentals several years ago. Completion of rental was a snap - here's the key!

4 hours late in getting my truck. I reserved 7am and paid movers to be there at 8am. Called evening night before to be told the truck will not be ready until 10. Got there at 10 and website issues stopped me from getting the truck until 11am. Lost 3 hours of moving and $300 as I had to pay movers to sit there. Will be calling customer service today when they open. Now I have to rent ANOTHER truck because we didn't finish as movers had another job.
Note: I had commented when I turned my truck in that the furniture dolly that I was supposed to get when I picked the truck up was not available, so I went without. The attendee said he would give me credit for the dolly when I turned the truck in. I turned the truck in Memorial Day so no one was there. I was supposed to get a $14 credit, i.e. $7/day for the dolly for 2 days. I only received a $7 dolly credit for one day. I am still owed a $7 credit. I can't keep chasing this but I am not satisfied that the Uhaul store has acted professionally. Thank you.
The entire process of renting and returning the vehicle is time consuming and way too much information is asked. Since we didn't have another contact, our passport etc we ended up going in the location and having to reenter all the information again. An hour later we had a truck rental. For this reason we will not be using U-Haul again But will use the competition.
Make sure rental equipment is available before offering it. The dolly I asked to rent wasn't available and then they didnt have a replacement but I was still charged. I had to call multiple times and the refund still wasn't provided how it was supposed to be.
