I arrived at the drop off location I chose, only to be told they were full and to go do a different location nearby. When I arrived at the new location I received substantial push back to call a 1-800 number to see where I should drop off. The store eventually agreed to receive the truck, but gave me a hard time about folding blankets. After I left, I saw an email from Uhaul that indicated a drop off location 35 minutes away from my address. There is no way I would have ever agreed to that drop off location.

I had an up-and-down experience. The customer service was GREAT. The manager and his wife (?) were very helpful with my pick-up and return, especially considering that I had to make a change at the last minute. On the other hand, the 24/7 pickup itself was a hassle. The keys are locked in the back of the truck. Unfortunately, the App wasn't working, and the manager didn't have a back-up combination, so we couldn't access the key. They had to call the help desk, get shifted around, etc -- it took me MUCH longer to pick up the truck than it should have. The staff indicated that they have this trouble frequently, so this is something that Uhaul should work on. All in all, it was good, other than above.

The place I picked up the truck was fine the problem was that I didn’t get the truck I reserved. I was given AND charged for a larger truck than reserved or needed and this was CHARGED twice as much. I put a call into U-haul (sat on hold for 25 mins before ever talking to anyone). Was told someone would call me with 2-3 days.

We were charged for the truck being dirty, when we picked it up it was dirty. We should have reported it before leaving the pick up location. Reporting this location to the BBB

Overall a good rental experience. Two areas of improvement: first, the trucks doors were very squeaky and difficult to open, somebody should’ve had access to some silicone spray lto ube the hinges. Second, My truck was given to me with a quarter tank of fuel. I’ve used other rental companies for trucks and they always give you a vehicle with a full tank, and expected return with a full tank. It should have a full tank of gas when given to a customer.

I tried to drop off on Wednesday afternoon and the first location said the system was down and he couldn't take it and go somewhere else. I went to the next closest location at 818 Main st Wake Forest and he said he couldn't take it because he had too many trucks and to drive 30 minutes away to a main Uhaul location. When I began calling Haul customer service he changed his mind and agreed to take it and told me he would check in that night and they would send a receipt via email. I never got a receipt and had to confirm with Haul customer service to confirm it was actually checked in. Overall a very poor experience with 2 gas stations that had little interest in serving the customer

All of our information was changed without consent. Our reserved truck was given to a walk-in customer and we were refused a discount by a manager named laurey... The manager that messed up the reservation and lied to us about it. no help until we called a 1-800 number. We were sent to three different locations where non had the truck for us. It was the worst service I have ever gotten. We use this company for every move and have never had anything like this happen. It should not have happened.

Advertising is misleading. Cashier was rude and indifferent when I took issue with having to put $40.00 of gasoline in to fill tank back up. I only drove 32 miles. Math does not add up. I would only recommend uhaul as a last resort you are better off walking

Stop automatically giving everyone a 6-hour window on a 24-hour price, second time going to this location, same tactics , but I see this done at almost EVERY U-haul rental place. The one thing that puts a bad taste in my mouth is when you nickel and dime your customers. Aren’t we (customers) giving you the money to begin with? Why are you trying to weasel out more? Not surprising, the companies that just give you what you pay for without a hassle will repeatedly get my money. I now look forward to talking to a used-car salesman over renting a truck, thanks u-haul.

Ramp did not pull out, was jammed. Credit card machine didn't work when I arrived at the location and had to write CC# and info on a piece of paper. Not secure but had no choice.

EMPLOYEES NEED BETTER TRAINING AND NEED TO LOOK OVER VEHICLE TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WORKS BEFORE RENTING THEM OUT. PULL OUT RAMP DID NOT WORK ON THE TRUCK I RENTED AND HAD TO RETURN IT FOR ANOTHER AND THE EMPLOYEE WANTED ME TO FILL THE GAS TANK UP FOR THE 15 MILES I DROVE IT AND COULD'NT EVEN USE IT.
