This has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had when it came to a large size company like UHAUL. Everyone is all about how they can get you out of their location or out off the phone so they can go about their regular stuff that they have to do. The employees are all about minimum work at a maximum pay possible. By the way, this includes their corporate employee that I spoke to from the Sacramento Corporate Office. No sense of urgency for the employees to help at alllllllllllllll!!!!!!!!!!!.

Hello, I picked up your truck from the Walnut Creek location on Sunday, the associates at the location informed me that I would be able to drop off the truck using the UHAUL online set drop off and I made it clear to them that I would drop it off late at night Sunday evening in Elk Grove, Ca because I have to be at work early in the morning on Monday. They said it's not a problem, it's easy and you drop it off using the website/platform for uhaul or any uhaul after hours drop off location with a drop box. It was Sunday evening around approx 10 PM and I went to the nearest uhaul location -so I don't go over my miles. The first location didn't even exist- 9584 E Stockton Blvd, Elk Grove. I drove around several times and this location didn't even exist. So I pulled up a second location for uhaul- 10391 E Stockton Blvd, Elk Grove, this place didn't exist AGAIN! I pulled up another uhaul location-8680 W Stockton Blvd, Sacramento, this place was closed with a gate where and had a sign that stated no night drop off. I put in another address-6425 Stockton Blvd and started calling the UHAUL customer service number and got a lady on the phone telling me there's no way of dropping off the vehicle after hours because the truck has to be dropped off at a particular location and that location will be open at 8am. I told the lady that I was told I can drop off the truck using the app which advertises after hour easy drop off and when I logged into my account it also stated that I can drop off the vehicle at 2220 Kaiden Dr, Elk Grove and as long as I'm not blocking any vehicles and parking the truck on the lot and taking pictures I would be good. The lady stated the website is wrong there's no such thing. I asked for a supervisor and I was put on hold for 15 mins and a guy by the name of Cody picked up, he wouldn't give me his last name. He said the same thing to me. My point is, that your company is also advertising that you can use your website or platform to drop off vehicles after hours where none of the locations have after hour drop offs and have gated lots. Another thing, how is the customer supposed to know the truck is supposed to be dropped off at one particular location after the fact that the truck was picked up and told to drop it off at any location and also the app states the same but no after hour location was accessible. I spent 3 hours driving around and on the phone figuring out what to do because I had a 2 hr drive back home and then to work in San Francisco. 1-there's a breach of contract 2-false advertisement 3-employees are promoting what's on your website but it is not available I had to stay awake all night and not go to work and make sure the truck was returned the following day. This is unacceptable. I would like someone to contact me ASAP. You guys cost me extra money in gas driving round Elk Grove And Sacramento looking for an after hours location, you guys cost me a whole day of work, and I had to stay in

Associate did not have a utility dolly as requested. Offered no substitute nor did not apologize for the inconvenience. This was a moving day and I did not have time to go to another location a "try" to rent a utility dolly. Associate was not helpful and did not seem to care. Horrible service.

The locations for drop off and pick up were fine. The UHAUL website and customer service is horrible. The system is broken. I was tossed around when making the reservation. I was given the impression by the website my reservation was guaranteed. Reality was very different. The reservation was moved to a location over an hour away at an evening timeframe UHAUL customer service said I could pick up before noon reality was it was after 3PM. By the grace of God I was able to get a truck an an alternate location. I was given a truck that I could only access thru the passenger side. Upon leaving we noticed the engine light was on. The vehicle switch gears on its own. IT was so late at night when we were returning I did not even think to call in. The car was taken out of services when I told the man at the drop off location. I am furious by the customer service provided by Uhaul. I was told by the "preferred location" that they have NOT had uhaul for years!

Not necessarily this location's fault but the uhaul was late so I wasn't able to pick up my car transport from the Antioch location.

The persons at the Postal Annex were fine. The UHaul website, however, did not disclose the fact that the location closes at 6pm, has no Dropbox for the key, and allows anyone to reserve a vehicle beginning at any time of the day. So I reserved at 4:30pm, got to the location to pick up, was informed it needed to be returned by 6pm. Anyone renting a moving van knows 1-1.5 hours isn't enough time. Due to my immediate need to rent, had to take it. Was given several options to return the van and key without being charged extra. Returned the van 3.5 hours after pickup, but since there was no drop box for the key, I had to return the next day and return the key. I was charged double for the rental. How is it my financial responsibility to pay for a 4-hour in town rental when the uhaul reservation page doesn't tell you the operations hours of your pickup location?

Customer service is not very friendly. I went only 11 miles, put a gallon of gas and still got charge for gas used.

Truck was filthy and a recent previous renter had smoked in vehicle. I will not use this location in the future.

The mirrors on both sides were not adjustable. This was a problem for me because I could not see where the end of the truck was on my right side. I managed to work through it, but it would be nice to let customers check the mirrors before renting. Also, the gas tank was unusual because it overflowed while filling, even though the tank was not full. I am not sure why this happened, but at 3 different gas stops I spilled gas on the ground because the hose would not shut off automatically.

The staff were very nice & helpful. The truck was clean & in good shape. My only complaint is that I had ordered a furniture mover on line & they do not have any.They do not even carry them. It seems that the on line should have blocked me from ordering a furniture mover since that location does not carry any. I had to buy a furniture mover instead. It was not the fault of the staff at that location- they were very helpful.
