The U-Haul representative at Toko Servicecentre was polite, friendly, and thorough in explaining how to operate the small truck rented for my move. The vehicle return process was easy and I appreciated receiving the final receipt for the payment by email given I needed to drop off the vehicle after Toko Servicecentre was closed for the day. This was my first time renting a truck for a move and it was a great experience. I would definitely rent from this U-Haul location again. :)

Used self check in, took longer than checking in at counter. Doors automatically locked with keys in. Had to call for service, took over an hour. Operator said that it happens often. Over charged over $40. ( I was charged for my free kilometers) Still have not received a refund, it's has been 2 weeks. I would like someone to contact me 519-501-0824

The location was fine. I mean, I am picking up a rental truck, I am not really expecting red carpet and vallet service. What was really wrong with my rental was my experience with U-Haul before and up to my rental date. I booked 3 weeks in advanced, the place I originally selected isn't even a dealer anymore, I didn't find that out until 2 days before I was suppose to move. I selected 9am for a pick up time and was given 4pm as a pick up time. I have type this all out in a complaint to U-Haul last Friday and have yet to receive a single reply for U-Haul with a way of compensating me for an unbelievably horrid customer experience. Within 4 days, I spent close to $700 at U-Haul (rental truck, mileage, gas, and storage unit), but since you already have my money, I guess you have zero incentive to actually treat me as a real person or customer. Better to just ignore me and pretend you didn't cause the most stressful moving experience possible for me.

Terrible service, thinking of my recent UHaul experience infuriates me. Firstly I rented from a Uhaul in Windsor. my gas was lower than what it was on my contract. No big deal, I go to the lady at the counter she writes me a new contract with the correct gas but tells me to return the van at the higher amount of gas from my first contract where I would get 20 dollars reimbursed from Uhaul off my rental fee. When I return the van, not only does the guy working at Toko service centre Waterloo have no idea what is going on with this reimbursement, he charges me an extra day of rental fees which at the moment I still can't get to the bottom of. I call the number of the Uhaul in Windsor and got forwarded to a telephone agent not working at that Windsor Uhaul location and said she could not help me as she wasn't working in the store, and that the phone calls to that store get forwarded to her regardless. I call uhual customer service and she said she could not do anything because I had to work things out with the locations in Windsor and waterloo respectively. I call Toko in Waterloo asking him about my second day charge and he says it's Windsors fault. How can this company call this customer service?! I ended up returning a van to Uhaul with more gas in it than I was required because I followed the Windsor Uhaul agents instructions that I would get a reimbursement. And two, by following my contract instructions, I get an extra day charge. Now on top of all this, after trying to fix things by calling people, everyone points fingers to other parties and absolutley nothing is being done about it. The person on the phone at Toko was also confused and had no idea what was happening. I am so frustrated at this entire experience. I will not be recommending Uhaul to anybody, and will certainly be recommending other moving companies.

We were shocked to learn how expensive it was going to be to drop the Uhaul trailer at our destination. We ended up driving it back empty to save a substantial amount of money. No one we talked to had any idea that this is how it is run. Will give it a second thought next time.
