Original truck site location was in Milwaukee, got call 24 hours before pickup that equipment was not available, had to travel (Uber) 15 miles to new destination. I specifically booked a hotel room near the original site so I could walk to the site and pick up the truck I had rented. Did Uhaul reimburse me for the Uber- NO. I had to pay for gas to get back to the original pickup point (moving daughter from college). Overall a horrible experience from Uhaul.
Andrew JThis site was fine but it was not the site I made my request for. I was told y UHaul that my confirmed truck at another site was given to another customer. Not sure why I was the one who had to adjust, but I did. This site was further from my destination so I ultimately paid more for the mileage. The truck and the people I dealt with did a good job. For that I am thankful.
