My only complaint is that the facility is damp and humid and climate temp is not maintained in the summer,
danielle i | Overall ExperienceSign says access available until 10pm Monday thru Friday. The office to close at 7pm. The staff locks the doors to the storage (we had climate controlled) at 6:30 - to 6:45, not 10. In addition they park many of the vehicles in front of the units so you are unable to pull up with your vehicle to put items in or take them out and I always had to go into the office to ask them to move vehicles. As for the staff, I hate to say no when a few of them were ok, so I said yes because you would not let me submit without answering.

JOSEPH Z | Overall ExperienceRat poop in corners and in front of multiple storage doors. My unit was climate controlled and should have never been infested with rats and their feces. My mental health was disturbed by the sight of my property shred, ate through and destroyed. Thousands of dollars gone to waste and I didn’t have insurance so Repwest refused to help me, something that was not my fault, so sad. Nice people work here I was just disappointed at the facility.

DIEGO M | Overall ExperienceThe problem isn't uhaul, its just this site and staff inperticular. Staff continually park personal vehicles in front of storage lockers/garage blocking access and when asked to move vehicles its a pain for them to do especially Asian manager who then talks down to you or ignores you? Just wow??? The other issue is closing times I had locker for over 3 years but can only gain access from 9-56? I thought this was normal until checking out other storage units. The real issue is staff its not the first time I've had a run in with them and I hardly ever visited unit, but when i did usual even parking uhaul trucks in front of unit just to be petty? DONT USE GAITHERSBURG FACILITY YOU WILL BE DISAPOINTED!

JACQUELYNE R | Overall ExperienceI pulled the truck into the "equipment drop" location. No one came out to meet me, so I went inside and asked the young lady at the counter what to do. She said a U-haul employee was already outside. I told her I came inside only because no one was outside. I then went to the truck. A few minutes later, the same young lady came to the truck and started to inspect it. I was standing on the other side. At some point, she left the truck running and went back inside without informing me. I thought the inspection was still ongoing. So, I waited for several minutes. Eventually, I went inside and asked her whether the inspection was complete and whether I was good to go. She said yes. Why couldn't she just have told me that when she left the truck running and went inside. I thought it was rude. The same young lady assigned me a storage unit. She was matter-of-fact, but I wouldn't say she was friendly. Too bad. A smile and a little courtesy make all the difference. The main office and the storage warehouse were both clean and tidy.
