When I went to the storage unit to remove my items my lock had been cut off and left inside and another lock was placed on the door. So at some point between the lock being cut off and me picking up my items someone had stolen some of my items. My unit was on the second floor. My mother’s refrigerator was big, old and very heavy. There was no way that only one person could’ve gotten it downstairs but it was gone along with others items still new in the box and old items. There were multiple items missing so would never refer U-Haul storage to a friend. No need for me to contact U-Haul when there is no resolve since my things were already gone.
