Assistance in Arkansas: U-Haul Expands 30 Days Free Self-Storage Offer

Company adds 5 facilities in Little Rock, Pine Bluff to help flood victims

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (May 29, 2019) — U-Haul Company of Arkansas is now offering 30 days of free self-storage to Central Arkansas residents who have been impacted by flooding associated with rising rivers and heavy rainfall.

Five stores have been made available to help in Little Rock and Pine Bluff. On June 22, U-Haul® extended the same disaster relief offer at three facilities in Fort Smith, Springdale and Rogers. Find that release here.

“The Arkansas River continues to rise, and we’re expecting more rain this weekend,” said Andrew Hicks, U-Haul Company of Arkansas president. “Many folks are evacuating their homes and are in need of a secure place to store their belongings. We want to make sure everyone in the impacted areas who needs to make use of our disaster relief program has that opportunity.”
