Are you addicted to Breaking Bad? Does a Walter White costume sound like it would make for a great Halloween? In this post we are going to help you have the best breaking bad Halloween this side of Albuquerque.
Costume – There are many options you can choose with a breaking bad theme, but Walt is the main character. If you aren’t the crafty type, there are some easy costumes you can create. You can buy a yellow hazard suit and a respirator. If you want to go as Heisenberg, then all you need is a dark pork pie hat and sunglasses. There are plenty of other creative options can use. Vehicle – There are a couple of ways you can arrive at a Breaking Bad Halloween party in style. You can start searching Craigslist and the classified for an old RV, or for Walt’s Pontiac Aztec, or even Jesse’s 1980’s Toyota Tercel, but to truly arrive in style, build yourself a truck with a giant electro-magnet in the back. Here is how you build one:
U-Haul – The U-Haul is the easy part. U-Haul sells all of their old trucks and they can be found in almost every part of the country. The truck in the show was a 1976 model, but you will probably have to settle for something a touch newer.
Batteries – You are going to need a whole lot of batteries. Perhaps you could ask your local auto parts store if they offer bulk discounts. You could always scrounge the junk yard for old batteries, but they probably won’t hold much of a charge anymore, and what is the point of a giant mobile electro-magnet truck if you can’t use it to destroy evidence? When it comes to wiring it all together, perhaps you will want a handyman or licensed electrician. All of those batteries together could give you one heck of a zap!
Magnet – Finding one of the giant electro-magnets is the most difficult part. They aren’t exactly something you can pick up at your local hardware store. My suggestion would be to contact your local junkyard, and maybe they will let you borrow theirs. If that fails and you find that you have way too much money burning a hole in your pocket, you can always buy a new lifting magnet.
Candy – You have to have candy on Halloween, so why not make some blue crystal rock candy to go with a Breaking Bad Halloween?
