I was told that they didn't have room for me to drop the truck off at the Jaffrey location and that I should have been called about going to another location. I told them that I never received a callâ€¦and the rep then did take the truck. 3 days later, I got a call from someone in Michigan that they truck was never dropped off! I drove by the Jaffrey location and saw the truck was still there. I guess I would say the only poor part of the experience was the lack of communication within the whole processâ€¦that definitely needs improvement.Monika D.

No spots to put the truck. Had to squeeze into a extremely small location. Closed at 12 no Personnel. No cell phone service on two carriers. Truck fuel gauge wouldn't register the fuel. Had to fill the truck completely even though it had 3/4 of a tank when I took it.Steven G.

My original reservation was for 8:30 am, when I called to let them know I was running a few minutes behind I was on hold for 21 mins. When I got through they said my reservation was for 2:30 pm even though my reservation clearly stated 8:30 am. I was in transit to pick up my rental and driving when the reservation person I was transfered to said there were no rentals around, so I had to physically pull over and figure out locations for them to check. I was lucky to find one quite a way away from my orginal location and picked an "upgraded size" for no additional charge... But then was charged an extra 10 because I went over in mileage... Well of course I did, I had to get the rental significantly further away than planned. The cab had someones dirty clothing in it, someone must have spilled a drink as the metal plate under the center seat was all sticky and the back wasn't swept out. I finished my move, swept it out and notified the drop of location of the dirty peice of clothing behind the drivers seat.Thomas A.

Friendly folks at Gauthier's, but the 20' truck I picked up was dirty. Moth balls, sand, trash, and a melted Ricola cough drop were in the container of the truck. The cab was pretty dirty with lots of dog food, a granola bar and partially full drink containers under the seat, dried, sticky soda and crumbs in the cup holder. It certainly didn't impact the effectiveness of the truck. The truck got my stuff to where it needed to go. However, I was fairly nervous the whole time that I was going to be billed for cleaning, and it's just sort of unpleasant to pick up a vehicle that's really dirty. The customer service at Gauthier's was kind and prompt, no complaints there.Griffin K.

I-Haul sucks. The trailer I ordered was not there for me to pick up. Then despite me saying repeatedly I was going to drop off in Andover you got it wrong. The whole experience was horrible. Then you have the nerve to charge me an additional $3 for the wrong drop off location. I will never use U-Haul again.Michael T.

I don't want to rate the location poorly because they were very nice. However, the corporate office I assume has greatly failed in this. I was told that the only 26 ft truck was an hour away from my location. There are numerous uhaul facilities in my area. We drove an hour, they did not have the truck we ordered. The only remedy was a 20 ft truck because Uhaul corporate offices didn't do their homework. We ended up leaving 10% of our stuff because we didn't have enough room in the truck. I was supposed to pick up the trailer in Gardner, MA, per my online reservation. Called Gauthier., they never heard of me. They told me to call Gardner,. They too never Heard of me. Spent half an hour on hold trying to figure out why I got switched to Jaffrey, NH. Never got a good answer, except that's where your trailer is. More than twice the distance from my home. Why? when i picked the truck up there was no pre trip inspection of the vehicle I drove a hour and forty minutes to pick up furniture but it was raining and the truck had a pool of water on the inside so i wasnt able to pick up my furniture and now have to rent another truck and there was no offer to make it right seems like i should have got so kind of refundJASON G.

I have rented 5 trucks over the past 2 months and 4 of those times the customer service was terrible. You never have the right size truck available and you don't inform me until it's too late to change my plans. Then the customer representative on the phone is rude and not able to make any accommodations for shortcomings. The trucks have been dirty and almost out of gas every time. That causes unnecessary delays at the beginning of my day. U-haul obviously has no nationwide competition or they wouldn't be in business. Good opportunity for someone to start a business.David C.

Used 24 hour drop off, Uhaul doesnt tell you on website or app that photos of things are required thankfully I wasnt about to be screwed and took plenty of photos at drop off. This location wasnt open on Sunday so I called Uhaul to ensure I wont be charge an extra day and found out i needed photos to be emailed. Then on Monday drop off location called and said I was going to have to pay extra for fuel not being at correct level. I refused and location "cleared" added charges.Jason S.

Gauthier's saved my day - I had a truck reserved at U-Haul in Keene, where I was living, and the day before I happened to call there to confirm - they told me they had no truck for me since I was going one way - I'd have to go to Jaffrey! This took an hour out of my moving day - however, Steve and Zack at Gauthier's came through, called me right back, got us on schedule. Big Kudos to Gauthier's, bad business policy for U-Haul. (U-Haul, If you confirm a location with a customer, make sure you have a damn truck available for them.)Sue M.
