This location could benefit from a little diversity training when it comes to the customer base. We wouldn't want to lose profits because of the lack understanding of customers from various ethnic backgrounds do's and don't's.

I was obsessing over the mobile app check-in experience. I picked-up my uhaul truck all on my own. The app guided me on how to do that. I inspected the vehicle, took pictures of any previous damages and uploaded them into the app. I didn't know a customer service representative was going call my contact person (although they did state it). So that was a hassle. Your contact person cannot be one of the drivers (that was not stated). But this has nothing to do with U-Haul in Norwich, therefore I did not remove a star. I can agree, however, this is a very impressive way to verify renters! What an AMAZING group of staff here; extremely helpful and friendly. I couldn't believe my eyes when a staff member came outside to take my keys after I was all set. He didn't have to do that. Thank you for being a part of my moving experience. I will never forget it!!

Customer service was very good, nice person at pick up and drop off. The truck smelled clean , very disinfected smell which was awesome! The rubber lining on passenger door fell loose and laid on the floor and was in our way throughout our trip. The transmission was delayed when putting in reverse each time, causing a huge noise and abrupt feeling before backing up. The truck served its purpose and U-Haul will be used again due to the conviennance of service. Thanks guys.

I wish you would keep the fuel tank full. Then when I'm done all I have to do is fill it up to replace the gas I've used. But I guess you do it with partial tanks so you can charge people more for gas since they have to guess when they've put in the right amount.

Booking online sure save a lot of time. It would probably help NOT advertising 19.99 a day when in fact between taxes etc it comes to over 3 times more. I mean I understand how advertisement works, but it sure raises question when I pick up a rental at 4pm I return it the next day at 10 so is not even 24 hours and my bill is 71 dollars. Still cheap ok but sure the 19.99 a day is misleading

Made reservation and received confirmation call day before pickup. On the confirmation call, the caller didn't tell me or even ask if it's ok to change the pick up location. Luckily I noticed the change when looking up directions the morning of pickup. Next I get to the location and they are closed. I had to call the Uhaul corporate number and they couldn't reach the regional manager. After on hold for 30 minutes, the lady at the corporate number said to just take it if comfortable hooking up myself.

The online checkin process was a little difficult. I arrived early to log in to get the truck and I ended up being late getting the truck. The online process was not easy to use for someone who is advanced in technology. I will never rent a uhaul on a day someone is there to help.

By allowing people to walk in off the street and rent a truck on the spot instead of FORCING "everyone" to do a reserve in advance some people don't have computers and phone needing a truck!!! they had about 6; ten sized trucks in parking lot the size I wanted. They ask if you got a reserve I said no THEY TURNED ME AWAY saying all trucks were RESERVED. I drive all the way back home and do a reserve go back those same trucks there he said it will be about 330 pm before a truck avail UNLESS I pay $10 more for a bigger truck. TO ME THEY ARE SCAMMING CUSTOMERS using that same line to customers. Yes I took it because I had made plans to pick up a bed. I came back in like 2.5 hours NOW all of a sudden they couldn't access UHAUL saying yall system is down "Which I didn't believe" telling me to just go without closing it out at the actual time I brought it back but probably closed it out for 5pm . Being new i this town I witness this same type scam to customers at this furniture place the furniture you want seem to not be in STOCK and you have to wait 2 or 3 weeks to come in and be delivered but the higher priced stuff THEY HAVE IN STOCK and can be delivered QUICKLY it's all a hustle and I don't like it one bit!!!! Uhaul had all those trucks 10" sitting out there and they gave me this raggerty driving truck the size I didn't want and having to pay more. Plus I told them I gotten lost putting additional mile I didn't attended to do while in this new area. So I had a unpleasant experience with this particular location

I was going to do a one way trip to Manchester, but the guy convinced me that getting the truck and dropping it off back in Norwich would be cheaper. Instead it was $50 no ore expensive than the latter, and $70 more than what he quoted me at. Q
