Truck smelled a bit and was not 100% clean. Fine for our purposes but would have been awful for any distance. There was a warning light on for "Check tire pressure sensors" which was very nervewracking, seems the truck needs maintenance. Employees were blocking access to the truck at first, but thankfully moved their vehicles because they left for the day before I needed to get out.Preston L.

I used the pick up via phone process which was a huge mistake. I was told my pick up time would be 11 and we were not able to actually get the truck until after 11:40. it was not convenient. it delayed our trip and we had to make other arrangements for our move. it also included the wait time in the fours hours we had it reserved which makes no sense. during our waiting time for the approval we were also trying to call customer service and remained on hold. we ended up hanging up because we couldn't reach someone. I was disappointed considering Uhaul is a bigger company that shouldn't be having such amateur issues. the process via phone definitely needed to be revised. the approval process should happen while renting the truck when your info is needed. NOT when you're there to actually pick up the truck.Erica B.
I am a pastor, and part of my ministry is helping people move. Your employees are wonderful. Your 24/7 system is not. It was frustrating during pick-up (which took 1 hour 15 minutes so that I got to my destination 5 minutes before they closed). It was also frustrating during return (which never did resolve, so I just dropped the keys in the return box without finishing the process). I later called U-Haul to tell you how I had returned it. Again, your people are terrific, especially Paul Reed who went above and beyond to make it possible for me to pick up my truck. Your IT systems leave much to be desired. In future, I will always do an in-person pick-up. I am a long-time U-Haul customer, and will continue to look to you first when it comes to moving. Fr. Rand York+Rand Y.
